Reviews

Bent after the first useAnonymous reviewerUnfortunately, the product bent after the first use and hasn’t been usable since. I expected better quality for the price.1
Potato ricerAnonymous reviewerEasy to use, easy to clean5
Five stars ✨Anonymous reviewerI wasn’t sure when everyone in the family wanted me to purchase this potato presser but it is the best item brought this year for the kitchen! Definitely recommend! It’s easy to use and not difficult to clean.5
Very helpfulAnonymous reviewerIt's easy to use5
Best mash everAnonymous reviewerI love this! I now go out of my way to think of meals that will enable me to use it. It even works with potatoes with the skin on so no peeling.5
Potato Anonymous reviewerGreat no limps5
ExcellentAnonymous reviewerI have found this to be extremely useful and not just for potatoes but other veg as well. A good purchase5
not fit for purpose Anonymous reviewerUnfortunately the items masher bent the first time using it. I corrected the bend a few times but don't have much faith in it's longevity. Two uses and it's on the way to the tip... 1
MashAnonymous reviewerMakes perfect mash.5
Idealisk potato ricer Anonymous reviewerEasy to use, made nice smooth and creamy mashed potato 5
Messy and painful to useAnonymous reviewerThe potato shoots out the side gaps and the gaps between the parts, making a real mess. Not sure who thought gaps at the side were a good idea. Also, it's painful and difficult to squeeze the handles hard enough together. I just don't understand all the good reviews on here. Oh and the resultant potato was very underwhelming. Tried twice making sure the potatoes were really soft the second time but both results were the same.1
Immediately brokeAnonymous reviewerProduct bent and broke on first use. I don’t have the receipt anymore so £10 feels punchy for something I immediately had to chuck away1
Flimsy and hard to cleanAnonymous reviewerI purchased it with high hopes to ease my job to prepare baby food. It quickly deformed during use, I had to return and replace. Now, I used my trust to it and using for very small jobs.1
Potato ricetAnonymous reviewerGood value, does the job, great item.5
Bent on first useAnonymous reviewerProduct bent and was not longer useable after the first few portatoes. Very poor quality for the price.1

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
