Overall therefore, it is an okay product of good quality if you are looking for a regular corkscrew, but if IKEA could sell stand-alone bottle openers: it would be more purposeful from my perspective as I rarely am I need of a corkscrew.

FlimsyAnonymous reviewerThis is very flimsy and feels like it will break when opening a bottle of wine. The plastic bit in the base comes out of the opener and sticks on the bottle you then have to pull this off without spilling any wine. Ikea used to do a much better and stronger one. We had an older one for many years. This is not good at all. It’s very rare I would criticise an Ikea product but this is not good at all.
