TabAnonymous reviewerAlso bought two of theses as bought to sets of drawers. Looks lovely with the glass top. The fastening are very fiddly and they are plastic so break easily. We have contacted IKEA and they are sending new fastenings.
Protective glass Anonymous reviewerBought this to protect the top of the chest of drawers, does a good job, the only negative is the clips to hold it in place are almost impossible to get in, and snap, have therefore had to leave them out.

It’s a shame there isn’t one for the bedside cabinets. An easy peel sticky label would have been helpful and check that there are no fingerprints or smudges on the underside of the glass before you fix it in place as is difficult to remove once fixed

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
