Not easy to assemble Anonymous reviewerBuilt many things but this was a challenge due to the plastic fixings, we needed to take it apart as it wasn’t aligning properly and the fixings don’t like that. Material is quite flimsy in some parts and when trying to pull the plastic fixings apart, it caused damage which means we can’t put the unit together. Due to IKEA not providing spare component parts, it’s heading to landfill, not very environmentally friendly and very expensive mistake. If only the Taskrabbit was available but apparently not in my area. Looks good but I did notice in store it wasn’t perfect, so I guess an expensive lesson learnt. Off to try and find an assembled replacement somewhere.

Putting it together was a bit of a challenge, it was not very clear, all done with pictures ( not good ), I think they should number the parts and obviously in the instructions. Not sure ours will stay together for years but it seems ok. Having said all that it looks good.

Great cabinetAnonymous reviewerIt wasn't easy to start building it but the overall effect is amazing. The cabinet is a good size, it's a great storage space and on top of that it looks stunning!
To start assembling it, you have to open both boxes to find the wright parts . That was the only difficulty, after that the instructions were clear and easy.

Plastic connectors are an absolute nightmare Anonymous reviewerUsing plastic connectors are a design fault. They are so difficult to connect and once you have connected the pieces its impossible to dismantle the unit. One of the connect spaces broke open leaving us unable to complete the build as it wouldn't hold steady. We cant even return just the broken panel as we cant get the rest of it dismantled without destroying the whole unit. The usual turn and twist connectors work much better. If you ever come to move home and need to dismantle the furniture forget it.
Not as well made as hoped Anonymous reviewerWe had to send back parts and than whole thing twice. There a middle leg that can cause issues. Doesn't seem to be made of a good materials as other items we have had. Doors came with marks on and locking system casuing issues if need to take item apart to return cases damage as it a large item you hope you couple take apart and put togtger again ok. Wood not great and covering not the best and shame the back not white to match as we have it on a landing and fit lower half but the higher part can be seen.

Also, best to connect doors as a single panel and THEN attach together as they are too heavy to try and balance when inserting small screws ( which didn't fit properly)

What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
