Looks great but faultyAnonymous reviewerThe Idanas bed is beautiful and practical. Those were the reasons we bought it in the first place. It takes some time to assemble, but that's fine. After less than two years of normal use, squeaks are noticeable. The worst part is that the drawers have failed. The small wooden chunks that are screwed on the top and bottom bases, to support the drawer rails have failed. The screws destroyed the "wood" and cannot be placed back. Needless to say, there is a one-year warranty that is expired, and all our efforts to get replacement parts for those bases of the frame have led nowhere, spending time on chats and calls for nearly a month. So sad to see such poor quality on an otherwise well-designed product. Only solution for us is to buy a totally new bed frame.

We paid for the more expensive slats however they make noises whenever when you move in the bed as they don’t fix to the frame. We double checked and followed the instructions correctly. It disturbs our sleep the noise it makes when the slats move around on the frame.

It took us a while to make it though, we had bought the more expensive slats (Lonset) and the instructions only seemed to be for the cheaper ones (Luroy). The instructions showed some clips to put on for this but in the end we decided that must have been for the cheaper slats.

Great sturdy with big storage drawers.Anonymous reviewerTook a while to put together but was worth taking our time, the frame is sturdy and heavy it isn't easy to move. The drawers are fixed to the frame, they are big. There is a gap under the drawers so that you double don't bang your toes on them which was good planning on the designers part. Make sure you keep the building instructions as the bed will need dismantling to move rooms/house. We are happy with our new bed.
Technical faultAnonymous reviewerBeautifully comfortable and quiet bed but we had to return the first one as the two drawers at the bottom of the bed just didn’t fit into the space available for them (not even close despite the other drawers fitting like a glove).
We had a replacement sent to us and without even building it I can see that the length of the drawer fronts are longer than the length of the bed, therefore they won’t fit again.
Customer services tried to be helpful but they don’t seem to have a department responsible for technical faults. Hopefully by leaving this review it will help anyone else that encounters this issue.
Such a shame as I love the bed and it looks great with the other items in the same range.
