Safety and compliance

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 15,000 cycles, which is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.

Very easy buying and deliveryAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 Hyltarp sofas. Communication from ikea was great. Easy to assemble and the covers are a great fit and not a struggle to put on. My only slight disappointment is that they are not as soft as the showroom one. I reckoned the seats would relax with use. It hasn’t but it does mean the sofas maintain a nearly new shape which is great. Since they are still comfortable, it’s not a huge issue now but I was disappointed as I had searched for a squishy sofa. 4
