Don't waste your money!Anonymous reviewerWithin 4 months went rusty. Very disappointed considering the GRUNDTAL Dish drainers with drip trays lasted for 7 years, could still have been in use but got rid of them when we had new kitchen fitted end of 2024. Ikea please bring back the GRUNDTAL Dish drainers!
Not Designed for PurposeAnonymous reviewerThe rack is of good quality and is easy to clean. However it does not support plates when upright and not enough space for glasses. Would not recommend.
Good qualityAnonymous reviewerGood quality piece for counter top
Brilliant idea, and item for priceAnonymous reviewerI’m only writing this review as I’m genuinely surprised by the low score and feedback on here. I’ve had the black one for over 3 years of constant use and yes the cutlery drainer has rust in the bottom but I’ve never really looked after it or dried it out unless I had to so it’s little wonder really. Plates stand up in it fine it they’re lent ‘back’ instead of ‘forwards’. It’s even been strong enough to hold my cast iron cookwear while drying as well as plates and cups. Genuinely cannot fault it. It’s an absolute steal for £15.
Poor materials - rusted!Anonymous reviewerOur cutlery and plates have been touching this rusty drainer for weeks now; unfortunately i only noticed this recently. You would have thought for that Ikea would have paid a bit more attention to the material used for this! I do not know what is the health impact of eating from forks and plates that have sat on rusty material. This one is on you Ikea! Get this product off the shelf and fix it.
Not fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerTerrible design, plates don't stay in the rack and fall over. 4 plates already broken
Terrible design ,not fit for purpose Anonymous reviewerIn agreement with other reviews, whoever designed this must never have washed a dish in their lives ! I’ve had mine three days and at this rate I’m not going to have any crockery left as it keeps falling over and falling in the sink! One of the worst things I’ve ever bought, would have expected much better from Ikea .
Rust-susceptible metalAnonymous reviewerAfter two months it starts rusting.
Useless - total waste of £30 (for 2 units). Anonymous reviewerPlates fall over far too easily due to shallow central grill lip. Poor design compared to its predecessor which was significantly narrower and much less obtrusive (assuming placed above a sink) and more stylish, but for which the drip plates had completely rusted. The only thing IKEA have got right with this model is to use plastic drip plates. Back to the drawing board in terms of buying a suitable replacement as these are next to useless.
Worst dish drainer everAnonymous reviewerPlease no one ever buy this product. Plates and dishes fall over on it. It has one job and fails miserably. IKEA should face criminal charges for this product, which pains me every day. My wife bought it and I cannot dispose of it because she likes it. My wife however does not wash up and laughs at my daily struggle. I hate it with a passion. You'd be better off balancing the washing up and wishing it stays upright. Definitely don't buy it, it's not even worth stealing and 100% do not give it as a gift unless you really strongly dislike the person you are buying for. Good only to be thrown from a great height, for being stamped on, driven over or crushed. Possibly melted and moulded in to something else, maybe a paper weight. I can't score less than 1 star so please treat that as zero, or minus stars. Thanks
Great productAnonymous reviewerBrought this for our small apartment kitchenette and it works brilliantly, space saving, easy to install, good price, well designed and made, perfect.
Not Fit for purposeAnonymous reviewerBought this item few months back but installed only recently. Very disappointment, the slots are not deep enough to fit the plates in without them falling off the rack. Almost broke 4 plates after installation. A very big design issue IKEA should consider.
Rust ProblemAnonymous reviewerI bought it a few months ago because liked the look. Unfortunately, the dish drainer has started to rust very badly and it left rust on my sink too. I do not recommend it.
Brilliant 🤩Anonymous reviewerBrilliant 🤩
Gone rusty after a few months.Anonymous reviewerA very good design keeping any drained water contained. However, where the metal has been bent to shape there is no coating to the metal. Rust is forming in this area. Would not recommend unless IKEA rectify this issue. Ultimately not fit for purpose.
Rusts - I do not recommendAnonymous reviewerThis drying rack started rusting after only a few weeks use - the rust has even transferred onto our mugs and plates. Really poor quality, I’m disappointed.
Rusty & plates don’t fitAnonymous reviewerBought this item a few weeks ago, and very disappointed with the quality. Started to rust within the first week of usage.
To add more to my disappointment, bought some plates at the same time (FÄRGKLAR) and the slots are not deep enough to fit the plates in without them falling off the rack. The design team should make sure that at least Ikea’s own plates fit the rack properly
RustAnonymous reviewerUsing for just few days it started to rust and was leaving rusted marks on my plates.
Rusted so badly it transferred onto my dishwareAnonymous reviewerI bought the silver version and liked the look of it to sit on the draining board. After several weeks it started rusting everywhere, to the point the rust would transfer onto my plates and cups. Luckily I could wash it off but now the only way I can use it is to put a plastic anti slip mat over the top until I find one that doesn't rust. Super disappointed and complete waste of money due to the poor materials used
Just what I neededAnonymous reviewerGreat idea for a small kitchen, wish the spacing was different to support plates better, but still great idea.

What is steel?
Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
