Rinse in warm water after daily use and wipe dry with a cloth. Do not leave this product in water or in direct sunlight for a long period of time.

Natural wood needs your care. Long and intense use without maintenance may cause the product to lose its smooth surface. To extend the life of the product, we recommend that you rub it with food-approved oil once per month.

I gave it a quick sand with some fine sandpaper, another wash and then oiled it. It’s been fine since. But it isn’t something I would expect to have to do. 4
