Shockingly flimsyVerified ReviewerI literally lent it against the wall so that I could read the instructions on how to anchor it and a slight breeze blew it over and it smashed all over the hall, glass shards everywhere, took a long time to clear that up kids and dog desperatley trying to avoid cut feet. Take your life into your hands wih this mirror. IKEA please get in contact, your customer service / returns pages are a doom loop. Other than this death trap love IKEA generally. Pics can be provided of the carnage that ensued the giant mirror flimse + breeze.1
Not as sturdy as expectedVerified ReviewerI kept this mirror wrapped and stored safely for 6 months before unwrapping - it never moved or was bashed during these months however upon upwrapping I have noticed the frame coming away from one side with a minor crack at the very edge - only visible when looking closely. But the lack of stability in the thin aluminium frame is disappointing, especially considering I have wanted this mirror for years but it would not fit in my car, instead I paid £40 for delivery and at £150 for the mirror itself it was double the cost of when I first saw it. The glass itself is clear, non distorted and beautiful to have in a room but I do regret this purchase. Double the cost but IKEA have not bothered to increase quality control. Also no information about fixings provided whatsoever - no screw sizes etc.2
Gorgeous MirrorVerified ReviewerWas looking a large mirror with sleek modern look for bathroom for quite a while . Heard good feedback from people about this Hovet mirror. Ordered it online didn’t mind paying the £40 delivery as other stores wouldn’t have this size an quality of mirror for the price it is . It arrived noticed 2 small cracks at one corner. No problem at all I emailed ikea they arranged an exchange for few days later. They delivered another one an collected the damaged one an took it with them . Mirror is stunning I definitely wasn’t disappointed. If like me at start that you can’t make your mind up . Don’t think about it purchase it. Believe me you won’t regret it. I have it freestanding in bathroom makes my small bathroom look a lot bigger. Can’t wait to purchase another one for my bedroom. Love it so much. It’s really big but easy to move about as it’s light enough in weight . Best purchase I have bought in a long time.5

Arrived with a chip in the cornerVerified ReviewerWe purchased the mirror for £150 and also paid an additional £50 for the delivery service, however, upon receiving the mirror I was extremely disappointed to find that it arrived with a chip in the corner.
I am disappointed that this happened, especially considering the cost of the item and the delivery fee. The mirror was intended to be a central piece in our new home, and the chip takes away from its aesthetic appeal. As a newly married couple, we have just moved into our new house and this is not the first impression we wanted to give.2

Fantastic large mirror for a great price!Verified ReviewerAs part of my home renovations, I have been looking for a mirror to put up on the big space that leads down the stairs. My builders agreed to do this for me and I found this perfect mirror from IKEA. With the virus, delivery was really high and not due for about 4 weeks so collected myself and managed to fit it in my Yaris! (All other seats laid flat). I wanted to share in case anyone else wanted to try to click and collect with their personal cars. It’s doable!5
