Induction hobs are extremely energy efficient, fast and precise as induction technology transfers energy directly into magnetic cookware.

Using the flexible zones together or on their own, you can set up a versatile cooking area for pots and pans of different shapes or sizes.

A single heat level can be set across all flexible zones for even and consistent cooking results.

With the one-touch preset program you simply slide the pan over the flexible zones to quickly switch the heat between high, medium and low.

The touch and slide control panel allows you to regulate the heat easily and precisely by sliding your finger across the temperature scale or touching the desired temperature on the display.

You have excellent control when you cook since the individual timers allow you to time each zone separately. For example perfect for boiling eggs, rice or pasta.

All zones have a booster function that quickly makes the zone extra hot – ideal for boiling water, browning meat and frying wok dishes.

Pause function allows you to suspend the cooking process if you're interrupted, then re-start again at the same temperature in an instant. When the pause function is activated the cooking zone is automatically switched to the “keep warm” setting.

Easy to clean by just wiping with a damp cloth or sponge as spills from food or liquids do not burn on the surface.

Anti-overflow detection feature automatically switches off the hob if cooking content boils over and spills onto the control panel.

The lock on the control panel increases safety.

The bevelled edge in the front adds a sleek detail to the design.

**ELECTROLUX HOB**Anonymous reviewerHÖGKLASSIG Designer: IKEA of Sweden MADE BY ELECTROLUX, not stated Think very carefully before purchasing this induction hob, I regret it immensely and having no resolution from Electrolux or IKEA I am cutting my losses and purchasing gas again. The temperature setting of 1 up to 7 barely allows anything to simmer If I have the boost setting on to boil potatoes, the 2nd zone turns itself down to number 5 which wasn’t even enough to heat gravy. There is a dual cooking zone that can work under one control; you are unable to use this function on boost, which seems to be the only setting that is sufficient to cook anything “All zones have a booster function that quickly makes the zone extra hot – ideal for boiling water, browning meat and frying wok dishes” But you can only use one zone at a time so are unable to achieve boiling water, browning meat and frying wok dishes at the same time. I was unable to get cooking oil hot enough to deep fry1
Competent and stylishAnonymous reviewerSo far, we have been using this product in the household for about a month. It has proved itself to be highly effective and its safety features have already proved themselves. We have used gas and infrared in the past, and are finding that this hub delivers truly rapid heat. Baked on spillages on an infrared hob can be quite hard to remove. This is not so much an issue with the induction hob. In addition, I have started to use the hob timer which has resulted in fewer incidents of burning and overflowing pans. Furthermore, when pans do overflow, it’s really easy to clean up. The flexible cooking area has meant that we’ve been able to use a whole range of cook-ware from jam pans to narrow diameter coffee machines. We procured one induction-compatible trivet so that we could heat non-induction pans, but we haven’t bothered to use it. It is much easier to stick with induction pans. Pans which are non-stick coated all over seem to be the most useable. Brilliant also for large cast iron.5
Love this hobAnonymous reviewerNever used an induction hob before and love it now. I spoke to a young man who was extremely helpful with regards to the different zones etc and this hob is perfect fit for my needs5
