Good to know
The daybed must be combined with two mattresses, 80x200. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.
Bed linen sold separately.
Slatted bed base is included.
2 ÅFJÄLL foam mattresses included.
The day-bed is not to be used as two single beds, it should only be used as a double bed when the bed base is pulled out.

Day bed pull outAnonymous reviewerBought this bed for my daughters not very solid would recommend using thicker mattresses with springs with IKEA roll up mattresses feel the timber slots that rattle about one the bed eigh movement when sliding in oan out the second bed the whole bed moves witch is frustrating drawers maybe little too deep ass you need long arms to get stuff in an out off them definitely not worth the money invest in a more quality bed and mattresses i can't see this one lasting long
Perfect item for small roomsAnonymous reviewerThis item was an amazing fit for my daughter’s box bedroom. It has given her the ability to have it as a single when alone and to have more floor space and then pull out when friends sleep over. Easy enough to put together but VERY heavy.
Nice Colour & StorageAnonymous reviewerWe have been using this as a guest bed and it's been enjoyed so far! The storage is easy to open and close, the colour is soft on the eyes, and the ease of use makes this a great choice for a mixed use room.
If I had to nit-pick, I'd prefer the bed to come out further so that two people would lay with their heads in the enclosed part, instead of one person on the "inside" and the other on the "edge". It just looks a little awkward to get into for that particular dynamic. It would also be nice if this was a full single size bed instead of a "Small Single" since this actually made it a bit more challenging to buy sheets/bedding for. Not a big deal either way I feel like mentioning it incase this is something that might bother some.
Overall great bed; easy to use, looks nice, and useful storage capacity with easy access!
Great concept - very poor constructionAnonymous reviewerWe love the design and features of this bed and were very happy with it during its first month of use. However, the metal frame is of very poor quality and buckled when pulled out to make a double bed. The bed now sinks in the middle, the metal frame is beyond repair, the mattress handles have broken in multiple places and the bed keeps shedding wood onto the clothes we have stored in the drawers. Very poor experience, unfortunately.

L shaped support too smallAnonymous reviewerUsing the parts supplied ir was too easy to pull out the the lower mattress too far and so the guide rail was taking too much weight and was distorted. A larger support solved the problem.
Quality product well designedAnonymous reviewerTook a wee bit longer than expected to assemble but all parts were present and fitted very well together. You need to take very good care that you are using the correct screws at the correct stage of assembly and follow the instructions closely. It is solid and well designed and good value for money.

not greatAnonymous reviewerBought the bed to keep set up as an open double but its so cheaply made, no great supporting bar for the side bed, if moves slightly the middle collapses, can hardly put weight on it if its not slid into place properly. Really poor design - made it now, but going to look at returning for refund don't love it at all sadly.

Looks great, hard to build and poor designAnonymous reviewerLooks great when it's built both as the day bed and pulled out as a double. Its bigger than you expect when it's pulled out and probably more a king than double. I'd suggest you need two mattresses as a double if used regularly, the mattresses are quite thin. The construction is difficult and there's issues with the parts provided as the screws aren't strong enough to hold the slats on the pull out, I've had to put wooden props in between the drawers to keep it stable
