Great in green !Anonymous reviewerThis large bookcase stood out for me while looking for a wardrobe for my daughter in Ikea Ashton-under-Lyne. I liked how the calm matt sage green of the main carcass contrasts with its pine shelves. It's a sophisticated and unique look.
The assembly instructions advise two people, but I'm 64 and did this with perfect ease by myself. In fact I quite enjoyed it. Only slight negative after building it was having to drill three holes where they should have been but were not. One for the 'roof' panel of the bookcase, and two for the bottom shelf where they were missing for the metal supporting pegs to fit. I'm fortunate that I have a shed full of tools for every eventuality, but someone else might not. I very happy with the end result however and I'm sure it will last for many years.

It can't go anywhere but I'll feel better once it's stable. I have another bookcase i bought over 20 years ago that's the same make. So this green one will hopefully last as long. So Definitely a great buy

Brilliant, but...Anonymous reviewerThis is a brilliant book case that looks smart and lifts the room, but... wanting to buy matching furniture in the Hemnes range is difficult - the green colour, which I love, has not been available in most of the range - have been trying to purchase a half height cabinet since shortly after purchasing 3 matching bookshelves - and it is yet to be available - which is really rather frustrating. Please make more of the range available in this colour.

A lovely coloured shelving unitAnonymous reviewerWe purchased this lovely shelving unit ready made up from the clearance section at IKEA in Exeter. We loved the space between the shelves and the colour was great. The only thing ‘wrong’ with it was a chip on one of the legs at the bottom which we figured would be hidden near enough by the carpet. It was a new product and we saved £60 on buying a new one plus, a big plus, someone at IKEA had assembled it and checked it over.
It is a good size, bigger than a billy bookcase and just right for my husband to store his radio controlled cars on.

It oozed quality, is well made and went together like a dream. The sturdy shelves provide a good depth, to take large and small format books. In all I am very pleased with it . It looks good and does its job with style.
