Good to know

Use only wooden or plastic utensils without sharp edges.

This product has a non-stick coating where no PTFE or other PFAS have been allowed.

Wash this product before using it for the first time.

Avoid heating a dry and empty frying pan too quickly, especially with the induction hob's booster function, as this can cause the pan to warp and negatively affect the coating's non-stick properties.

Reviews

Disappointing Anonymous reviewerWaste of money and for this price I had higher expectations really 1
Non stick is uselessAnonymous reviewerFrom the very beginning this phone didn't have great non stick, but within 12 months it was completely unusable. The surface looks untouched and undamaged but everything fuses to it. I've had to resort to using my ceramic pots from the 80s to fry things as they are better.1
Not greatAnonymous reviewerShould have read the previous comments, difficult to use with food sticking and burning, seems to have a hotspot which I have to avoid in the pan to prevent burning.3
Excellent so far!Anonymous reviewerI was dubious about the new non sick coating on this pan so I used it very carefully and it was very good. I've also used it on a far higher flame and it was excellent. Only time will tell how long this costing will last, however, non sick coating never last too long anyway.5
Great little panAnonymous reviewerAbsolutely no stick. Reduced my use of oil which is great. Easy to use and clean. Overall quite a good addition to my pan store. 5
Non-stick is a lieAnonymous reviewerThe non stick lasted for 4 uses, after 1 week that was it. This pan is just a waste of money.1
Really good panAnonymous reviewerVery heavy and much bigger than I thought! Great for cooking for big families 5
It is not a Non stick panAnonymous reviewerI buy the pan 5 months ago and The non stick coating doesn't work well since the beginning. Even when I used this item with careful and follow the instructions all the food that a cook there ended up stuck to the pan. It's really uncomfortable. It s the first time where I am really disappointed with this purchase.1
very happyAnonymous reviewerlovely product and wee designed 5
Frying panAnonymous reviewerOnly remained non stick for one use! Since then everything has stuck to it even with oil. We’ve only hand washed it and have followed care instructions. 2
Useless - Extra-stick not non-stickAnonymous reviewerI can’t believe a brand like IKEA is still selling this completely defective product, and even worse still marketing it as a non-stick pan. If you only need to use it once or twice it works fine, but after that it’s worse than the 10 year old pans I was replacing, absolutely ruins anything I try to cook in it. Time for a product recall / exchange program I think IKEA.1
Not particularly non-stickAnonymous reviewerWithin 2 weeks everything started sticking. 2
It is non stick but not for long !Anonymous reviewerI nursed this frying pan on low heat, didn't use metat utensils, washed it gently in the dink, didn't put in in the dishwasher.......... it's non stick properties are all just a memory. A useless waste of money. Not merchantable quality !1
Was this supposed to be non-stick?Anonymous reviewerIt was non-stick for all of 2 days. It's now a really annoying frying pan to which everything sticks and it's really hard to clean with non-abrasive sponges. 1
Hopeless, any other frying pan will be better Anonymous reviewerThis is the worst frying pan I have ever used. It started sticking from the very first use. I had to throw it away because it's impossible to cook with it.1
Quite disappointed - non stick faded and has hotspotsAnonymous reviewerI’m careful with my non stick pans, I don’t put them in the dishwasher, I only use silicone utensils, I don’t cook on a very high heat. The non-stick on this pan lasted 6 months. Not only that, but on my induction hob it only gets hot on one side e.g. if I’m making an omelette I have to turn the egg around clockwise to get it to cook evenly. Don’t be fooled by the weight, it’s not a good quality pan. Just save your money, get a cheaper one. I wish I had. 2
Very poor. Non stick qualities lost within weeks.Anonymous reviewerNot non stick - Lasted around 3 weeks before absolutely everything begun welding itself to the nonstick coating. Incredibly poor, do not buy this junk. I have had cheap non stick supermarket pans last much, much longer than this. It is one of the worst pans I have ever used.1
Lovely, but too easy to damageAnonymous reviewerThis was a great pan and I was really pleased with it, but the non-stick coating was easily damaged. It might be user error, but I would have loved it to have been more robust. Getting the matching lid was a great choice and made the pan very versatile.4
So far so good Anonymous reviewerOnly used this a couple of times, but it seems good. I was impressed that although suitable for an induction hob it doesn't have the round circle stuck to the bottom that so many induction pans have. I find that over time, the circle buckles and dislodged and makes the pan unusable. Hopefully, this frying pan will last longer since it doesn't have the circle. You are not supposed to put this in the dishwasher, but it was accidentally put in and came out fine. Now I don't know what to do?5
Not non-stick for long Anonymous reviewerI’ve had this pan for less than 2 months and already it’s lost its non stick (and I’ve only cleaned it in the sink with a soft cloth). Oil appears to have burned to the surface, which has caused it to lose its non stick properties. So unfortunately a total waste of money & materials. 1

Material

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
