The non-stick coating on the shallow pan is effective and the clear lids with the in built drain function are genius. This also helps to channel the steam inwards to the cooker hood too. As an extra bonus the handles on the pots do not get overly warm making moving the pans around much safer.5

I bought a cheaper lighter set but everything sticks and burns so replaced them with these. They are so much better, no sticking and frying pan so far is great. Wash in dishwasher so hopefully the coating will stay good as the pan’s clean up great

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
