My kingdom for some screws (and formatting in the review box, and why can I write 999 characters on the title box but only 999 characters in the main review box? If I've got 999 characters worth of title you know I'm going to have more than 999 characters in the main body of the review. So I'd love to see formatting respected - let me break up my wall of text into paragraphs, and I'd like to see a sensible limit on the review body, say around 5000 characters. That ought to do it and would allow people to really give an honest and descriptive review of the product instead of just what they're able to cram into the space that is currently provided. Most don't get too wordy anyway, they're just reviewing to try and get free stuff. The ones that complain have their soapbox to sound off on, and the ones that love the product can really wax lyrically about how much they love it. Wow I've almost hit the limit for the title text, its come along so quickly but I think this limit is a good one)Anonymous reviewerScrews are lovely, pop them in the hole, twist, and you've got a secure attachment of one thing to another. The mind boggles why anyone would ditch them and instead use bendy flaps of metal in a small confined space. Bendy flaps do not make a secure connection.
The unit is lovely, great size, colour, I can picture it in my space. I'll never see it there as I gave up building one of three I purchased. This popped my cherry - first time I've ever not assembled an IKEA product to completion. The world looks different now.
It was clear after I bent the tabs into place and started on the wheels that this unit wasn't going to last. It was wobbling all over the place like it had consumed 10 pints of lager.
Screws. Lovely things. Swapping the flaps for screws would give us a nice sturdy cabinet and a 5 star review. Sadly the ones I bought will be going back to the store today. YMMV.
As someone else said, glue might help, but be prepared for a wobbly experience ending in disappointment.2
Not great as the runners fall offAnonymous reviewerNice size, but the drawer runners don’t stay in place and fall off. They should of made it that you at least put a screw in each runner, just so they don’t fall off.1
very useful little cabinetAnonymous revieweruseful 6 drawer cabinet, I now have 4 of them. 2 I use under my modelling bench for tools, test meter, computer cables and the like. Easy to put together, 4
Good product but instructions need to clearerAnonymous reviewerGood product but instructions need to be clearer. Instructions which came with the item are just pictures which are somewhat confusing, some written instructions would have helped. Found written instructions online4
Honestly do not bother Anonymous reviewerSuch difficulty putting together. The only thing that has actual screws is the wheels so it’s very flimsy and weak. The wheels are terrible. Wish I had just spent the extra money and got a better quality one. Not even worth £101
Quite good than I expectedAnonymous reviewerIt’s actually a nice product. I was hesitant to buy it first due to the reviews, but surprisingly for me, the instructions were easy to understand. Fortunately, all pieces arrived in good condition and all screws fit nicely in the holes. I did not have any issue with this product and had a lovely time assembling it. My roommate liked it as well. 5
Flimsy and very difficult to put togetherAnonymous reviewerReally poor quality. Would not recommend. Could not construct it as too unstable. 1
Blue unit on casters Anonymous reviewerLove the colour, price was excellent. Sturdy and functional. Would buy again and recommend. 5
Good eventually, but difficult to assemble and lots of silly damageAnonymous reviewerI know flat pack doesn’t tend to be a walk in the park, but this was not easy to put together.
A lot of the parts were damaged, bent out of shape and paint chipping off. Really silly, avoidable damage and no sensible reason for it.
The end product is good, suits my needs and goes well with the desk but I doubt I’d buy it again. 2
Very flimsyAnonymous reviewerThere’s a strange tiny bit of triangular metal to push downwards into some inadequate slot which supposedly holds each of the structural corners together.
Having to read the instructions 94 times to try to work out what’s happening in all the corners, and then delve down through the inside to try to push these inwards, is less than ideal.
Mine fell apart on second use. A top drawer rail parted from the side, the drawer dropped onto second drawer which then dislodged another one. Then, pulling all the drawers out to attempt reassembly, the back fell off and then the top came away.
The customer service department in Gateshead is always fab and I was refunded without question.
If you want to buy one of these suggest very strong alternative fixing for these corners and a liberal application of no more nails or similar to fix the rails.
It’s a big no from me which is a pity because it would have done the job and does look great. 1
Perfect size to store nail polishAnonymous reviewerI have a huge collection of nail polishes stored in my 2 helmers. They are perfect for organisation 5
Lovely small cabinet, perfect for printing paper and small office accessoriesAnonymous reviewerUsed in our home office. It replaced a larger drawer unit as we needed more floor space. Only improvement I can suggest is to make the drawers slide in and out more quietly.4
Fantastic little cabinet.Anonymous reviewerThis turned out to be the perfect fit for my space.
The assembly was fairly easy but I initially put the rails on the wrong way, got them back out with a little bending and this is how I found tip 2 below.
Tips for assembly:
1. use a thin screwdriver to bent tabs and a plastic mallet to hammer them down flat, makes for a better fit.
2. When slotting in the rails, hammer down the tab that requires pressure to slot in and then tap it into place with a plastic hammer or mallet, otherwise, its quite a pain to press in by hand. Doing this elsewhere where tabs are involved and accessible will also provide a much tighter fit.
Also I must say 35gbp+5gbp shipping for this was a steal compared to any other deal I could find.
And with that good luck!

Super drawersAnonymous reviewerEasy to put together, a good size and great that it’s ok wheels5
Excellent storage for a small filing cabinet Anonymous reviewerVery neat and sturdy small filing cabinet. Looks more like a piece of furniture. I have two and have bought this as a present for family members on a few occasions.5
Fiddly at first but easy once you get the hang of it!Anonymous reviewerI was a bit worried having read a lot of the negative reviews, but I carefully followed the instructions and it was so easy to put together!
Really good quality for the price and is perfect for what I need it for (organising paper/card/envelopes/labels etc)5
Helmer - 6 drawer unit in black - so usefulAnonymous reviewerWe bought two of these in 2018 to add to our little office space at home. We found them easy to assemble and, although they appeared flimsy, once assembled are quite solid. They fitted perfectly under our standard-sized desks, so didn't take up extra floorspace. They hold so many bits and bobs that I'm not sure where we put everything before we had them.
We've had them for seven years now and they are in constant use. The paintwork is still in near perfect condition, the drawers are still in one piece, the castors are still rolling. They still look good. What more could you want from a low-priced unit?5
Stationary drawer unitAnonymous reviewerExcellent space for under desk storage5
I purchased 2 white sets of drawer units. Looks really niceAnonymous reviewerReally fab. I bought 2 sets. I've just made up the first , I watched a good YouTube instructions video. It was easy to make. And made up sturdy and drawers open and close nicely. It looks really nice next to my ikea Lisabo desk. I recommend this. Wish I could upload a photo to show5
Value for moneyAnonymous reviewerFor the price this is great value for money, i had read some of the negative reviews regarding build but can only summize that they did not follow the instructions completely, such a bargain that i bought another5
