The lamp has got double function - you can use it as a clamp spotlight or assemble it on the wall as a wall lamp.
You can easily aim the light where you need it because the lamp head is adjustable. For instance, you can direct the light on the book you are reading, use it as an uplighter or aim it to focus on a specific area in the room.

Missing partAnonymous reviewerLove the lamp, however the wall mount bracket was missing from the box - I didn’t realise until I came to fit it. I have attached it with the clamp to the top of the headboard which will do, but I would definitely have preferred to have had the wall mounted option

Missing partsAnonymous reviewerVery unhappy bought this lamp to match my ceiling spotlights bought previously from Ikea. I travelled an 80+ mile round trip. On opening the box the fitting brackets/ screws were missing. I had a further 80+ mile trip next day to return it. There were no lamps left to buy so returned home empty handed. Not best pleased.
