I found that if you sit on the floor cross-legged with your body pointing towards the top of the lamp pole you can twist the base on in your lap whilst supporting the pole with your other hand!     Gorgeous lightsAnonymous reviewerWhen I first unpacked this lampstand I thought it would be really difficult but it wasn't. Attaching the base was a bit tricky because the base is heavy and I had to attach it whilst the stand was horizontal. It looks classier completed and the colour is sumptuous. The lamps give a lovely ambience to the room which changes depending on how many you turn on. I bought the bulbs with it, however It would have been helpful to sell the bulbs in packs of three. I am really enjoying my lampstand. Worth every penny!5

    Gorgeous colour, each light has its own on/off button making it versatile. The base has some weight to it, making it feel sturdy. Need 2 people to put together ideally.
