Looks great but a pain to attach canopyAnonymous reviewerI put it together on the whole by myself, however you DEFINITELY need 3 people to clip it all together. You need one on each side of the frame and one on the centre to clip it all in. The canopy clips are a small and a bit of a nightmare. Not a quick job to take down if it rains4
Excellent product for the priceAnonymous reviewer
My only criticism would be it would be, it states two people necessary to put it up, but I was extremely glad there was three of us available, due to the size of the structure, It made much easier! I absolutely love it and really wish I could purchase a waterproof cover to use in winter!5
Pergola Anonymous reviewerWe needed 3 of us to put this together because of its size and the cover was quite difficult to attach to the rings but by following the instructions exactly it was simple to construct. It took a couple of hours so allow plenty of time and space to do so. Once up it is sturdy and looks good and provides shelter from the sun. A great purchase. 5
Good Sturdy PergolaAnonymous reviewerGood product & we are happy with it once assembled. The assembly is relatively straight forward although clipping the cover onto the hooks was a small challenge but there is a knack which you find after a couple of hooks are attached. I didn't have any real problems with the rest of the build [instructions are quite good] but it takes 2 people, If not 3 for final screw together for last 10 minutes of erection, & is roughly an hours job. It is very sturdy & the cover, whilst not water proof, is pretty good. Overall a good product, does the job, looks good & I think it will last for some time as the build seems strong. 5
Great addition to the garden Anonymous reviewerWe wanted something to provide shelter from both bright sunshine and summer showers and this provides the perfect solution.
A robust metal frame, yet unobtrusive with an easy sliding material canopy.
Took a little while to construct and would definitely recommend at least an additional two people to help with the later stages of erection.
Looks stylish and very good value.5
Great for south facing gardenAnonymous reviewerMy garden was basically just a clay pit with a lot of sun and this has transformed it completely. Spending so much more time together in the garden. Needed 3 people to put it together, would recommend laying something soft down to build on. You need 2 x the space of the pergola as construction is in massive parts that then need pushing together. No faults and holding up in the wind with some 12 inch rebar pegs I found online! 5
Not worth the price Anonymous reviewerThis is one of the worst gazebos to put together, the piles didn’t thread so we’re wobbly, my husband had to put a self tapping screw through all of them. The cover was so ridiculously hard to clip on. Definitely not worth the money my husband could have made a better one out of wood wish we had !1
PergolaAnonymous reviewerVery pleased with purchase. It took a while to put up as instructions quite difficult to follow. Definitely need more than two people to put up.5
Better than expected Anonymous reviewerI bought this online, so the great quality was a nice surprise. Very solid.
Only one small suggestion - a way to clip the canopy rails together would be useful.5
MY wonderful everyday!Anonymous reviewerWhat a difference this amazing item has made to our everyday! So easy to build and makes our garden so much more than just ‘a space’! Online purchase was easy, delivery excellent and would highly recommend. Thank you5
Brilliant addition to the garden Anonymous reviewerVery sturdy construction- so quite heavy to construct for a single person - but the instructions are quite clear it should be two..5
Not waterproof Anonymous reviewerSo long as you know that before you buy. Otherwise seems good but took quite a while to complete 5
Looks GreatAnonymous reviewerLooks great does the job well. Just unfortunately there's a lack of protection inside the main tubes and some of the pressed nuts were already rusty. Also the item was so mucky and the treads was full of dirt that I had to clean out before I could assemble it. It's not a waterproof cover shame really. But it works well and looks the part.3
!Not water proof!, otherwise good Anonymous reviewerIt took two people to put up, once is up is lovely Color and style. Very good on a sunny day. Study .
Only thing is . Is not water proof I was thinking to use it when sunny and sometimes even light rainy days I can sit outside. But no, water goes straight through , extra furniture protector needed for garden furniture. 4
Stunning but very difficult to assemble and not at all weatherproof Anonymous reviewerFirst up, assembled looks fab, had comments on how good it looks.
Assembly: the instructions are awful, the worst IKEA ones I have ever experienced and I’ve experienced a lot! The pictures are so tiny and very difficult to work out, that put so much extra time on the build. The structure took about an hour for me and my teen son to assemble, joining the two halves together was a nightmare I recommend 3 or 4 people not just 2. Next was the canopy, if you have problems with hands/grip this is not for you. The clips are RIDICULOUSLY HARD to snap onto the frame, took about an hour for what should be a 5 minute job. I suggest you assemble it exactly where you want it as it is so heavy or you need 4 people to move it. Next day, very light rain, water went straight through, you couldn’t sit under it in any rain and it also blows through as the sides are so high. I ended up buying 2 lots of tent waterproofing spray, which has worked (although have to push water off where it collects).4
Good value for money.Anonymous reviewerA bit tricky to assemble in a tight space as our garden is quite small.5
Great value for moneyAnonymous reviewerWe’d been looking for a pergola with a shade for ages but most are silly money so when we spotted this it was a no brainer. Quick and simple for two people to build, a good size and offers a great amount of shade, but isn’t a bulky frame that distracts from the garden. Easy to fix down onto patio slabs and very simple to open/close the shade. We live in a very windy spot and have found the frame can wobble slightly if it’s windy and the shade is closed but once you open the shade it doesn’t wobble at all so can’t complain. Well worth the money.5
Love itAnonymous reviewerReally pleased with this for our patio, went together well, needed 2 people to get it standing up and connected, seems v sturdy. Still need to drill it into our pavers so a good test that it’s still standing in the meantime! Has been through heavy rain already and water doesn’t appear to be pooling in the fabric which I was worried about. also like that the canopy can be washed. Much nicer modern design than many others out there, like that the legs are right under the corners so maximises space between each leg (288cm) and a better price point. 5
Good ValueAnonymous reviewerWith one or two mistakes along the way, 2 of us assembled the gazebo. The hardest part is attaching the canopy which needs very strong hands; I think the design of the rings could be improved. Detaching the canopy would be as difficult- so not easy to take down for cleaning (the pigeons have already done a number on it!) Also, the gazebo probably needs some proper concrete pads to attach the legs securely to the ground. However, for the price it’s good value for instant shade.4
My garden looks like a holiday destination Anonymous reviewerLooks soooo good with my patio furniture- it has made it feel like a real room. The only thing I would say is it would benefit from corner braces for extra stability I’m a little concerned at how much it may move in very high winds. But I love it! And great price point 4
