Great drawers at a great priceAnonymous reviewerI have had these drawers for a year now, I store my socks and underwear in them and considering the drawers are absolutely full to the brim, they are still working really well. Yes it is obvious they don't have drawer slides but they work great.
I remember when we put them together we struggled with adding the draw pulls but once they were attached they were fine. We are planning on buying a second set as we now want to use these as bedside tables.
TerribleAnonymous reviewerI've battled with this item from day one, I appreciate its cheap but that shouldn't mean it can't perform its basic function of being a chest of drawers. The side panels bowed within a could of weeks meaning the plastic runners no longer seat in the groove they are intended to run along. This means the drawers are repeatedly falling out, not ideal for use in a kids bedroom. To add to this, the base within the drawers also give way very easily meaning the contents of the drawer fall it. My advice would be to go for the RAST as it's solid pine and gas none of the issues stated above. I say this as I also have a RAST which has lasted over 6 years with no issue at all!

Gursken build and reviewAnonymous reviewerThe drawers were quite easy to assemble although I ran into trouble when tacking the back to the frame. My bad I guess but in spite of using the pin placer guide device a few times and then relying on my touch and judgement, I noticed that the frame edge had blown slightly as maybe a tack had not gone straight in, even though I had it equidistant from each edge. I was able to rescue the situation by carefully extracting each tack that had done this and placing away from any affected areas. So the moral is use the spacer tool on every hammer maybe, or make slightly wider frames! The unit fits perfectly in our daughter's room in Hall at Uni, and supplements her drawer space nicely without being overly obtrusive.

Material
What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
