Doesn’t Hang StraightAnonymous reviewerLoved the original Regolit lamp shades (which seem to have been discontinued?) and bought these instead for our new house. Unlike the old version, the central wire is curved, causing the shade to hang lopsided. The Regolit’s had straight wires and were easier to hang, why mess with a good thing?
Nice shade but strange inner frameAnonymous reviewerBecause the frame bends inside the shade, the top of the frame is at an angle and we needed to bend it with pliers to get the wire for the light to be level to get the shade to hang correctly. No way round this other than bending the frame and hoping it doesn't snap!
If you can get it to fit and hang correctly its a good value nice shade, if not it's just money wasted.

Uk standard pendant wire is too large a diameter and too stiff to easily fit the wire 'arms' that are meant to hold the shade in position. Resorted to bending the top arm as much as I dared without breaking the wire frame and using a plastic hair grip on the flex lower down to prevent it sliding down...

Terrible lamp shadeAnonymous reviewerAlthough these lamp shades do look very stylish, their construction is terrible. I appreciate that you get what you pay for but these are simply not up to the task. I bought five. The first one in stalled is lopsided as the clip to hold the ceiling rose wire is not robust enough for UK cabling. It may work better on continental wires that are braided and potentially more flexible. The second shade that I tried to install broke during the install. The wire used to make the stretcher that gives the lamp it's rigidity is simply not strong enough to use with UK cabling. As they are not fit for purpose I haven't opened the other three so will send them back if possible.

Such good valueAnonymous reviewerOK so they aren't going to last a lifetime, but for £2 they are just incredibly good value and easy to fit. They really look great and for £2 you really can't go wrong
