It pains me to say I’m really disappointed with this set. Anonymous reviewerI love Ikea, love everything they stand for, loved and owned furniture/items for 20 years plus but I’ve been really disappointed with this set. I was bought 8 place settings plus serving bowls, as a christmas present but refused to use it till our new kitchen was done. Hence I know the set of 8 has been in normal daily use, by a family of 3, for less than 14 months and it is appallingly marked with grey lines where cutlery has, not scratched, but marked the surface. I wish I could upload the pictures here to show how it looks.
Originally, it was a great looking set. It’s a great price. It’s a simple design that’s sturdy without being heavy.
My last set, also plain white, was bought as seconds and I’d had it for over 15 years! but, sadly, this just hasn’t stood up to the light usage of three people, to the point I’m going to have to replace it in less than 2 years.
