ReplacementAnonymous reviewerBought this set to replace an existing set. I prefer to eat my food off white plates. This set looks more expensive than I paid for it. Really pleased.5
Superb value for money and easy to hang Anonymous reviewerWe had some 40 year old velvet curtains that we wished to refurbish and needed to replace the liners. We purchased a set of Glansnava liners. They are superb. Just the right size, easy to attach using curtain hooks and very good quality. Our velvet curtains are fully restored!5
Good extra curtain layerAnonymous reviewerI now have several pairs of these in my house, which has big windows. They don't block light but they are a good extra insulation layer behind my lined curtains. This way they have the silver side out towards the glass so they reflect some of the suns' heat away in the summer. The small hooks that come with them are a bit fiddly to fasten (a bit like safety pins), then they stay closed so they stay attached to my curtains and can't slip out while I'm hanging them.5
Liner disintegrated Anonymous reviewerWashed at 30C. The liners have disintegrated!1
Terrible and does not block the sunAnonymous reviewerIt does not block the sun at all. Useless. I wish I had enough time to raise a claim for the money 1
Please don’t get me wrong,Anonymous reviewerPlease don’t get me wrong, I bought this curtains to support the previous ikea curtains with the intention to keep the place warm. It is good blackout although there are not thermal. Unfortunately I haven’t seen any thermal curtains from ikea and the time is needed.2
Don’t block lightAnonymous reviewerThese linings hardly block any light and we will have to buy a second set.
I have another different pair bought at the same time that are very effective. These should be re-rated as just don’t work. I would take them back if it wasn’t so far away.1
Not very effectiveAnonymous reviewerHas the quality of these liners changed. Last pair seemed fine. Not really up to the job, too much light is coming through the curtains, will have to buy another pair from elsewhere.2
No hooks in package?Anonymous reviewerI couldn't find any hooks in the package. Is it just me? The instructions are not particularly helpful. Hard to work out how to hang them inside my existing curtains...2
Seem Fairly GoodAnonymous reviewerI am using these as curtains with the silver side towards the room. The cats put a few claw makes in them but if you rub the material they seem to disappear, except for the catch that has appeared from one clawing. I am pretty impressed, I bought these as they are cheaper than most alternatives and I thought the cats may ruin them. So far the decision seems to have been sound. I would buy these again.5
Need more than a degree to work out how to hangAnonymous reviewerThe instructions are incredibly basic and I could not work out how to hang these with other curtains that fit on the pole too. I think I have these the “wrong way round” so not sure if I’m getting any of the thermal benefit. But they hang nicely and my new curtains, along with these look very good3
Fiddly attaching systemAnonymous reviewerAs others have mentioned: I nearly lost will to live with the hooks system, until I hung the whole thing up on the window, on the curtain rod, so the weight of the curtain made the hooks work. When I had managed to put it all together, I lifted the rod up and turned the entire curtain rod around, so the lining was at the window side, and Sanela curtain facing the room as intended. I have never considered calling IKEA for help with assembly until today. The illustrations on the packaging and on the product page on the website are very, very unhelpful. However, the fabric is very nice. 90% recycled polyester, will not hold moisture. Makes Sanela into decent curtain.4
Good value. Easy to useAnonymous reviewerGood value. Easy to use5
Good dim out linersAnonymous reviewerOther reviewers are correct that these aren't blackout liners (perhaps this product lack could be addressed IKEA..?) but they do a pretty good job at dimming down - they definitely made a difference.
Lovely colour and I can see why some have used them as actual curtains. Not heavy so pretty easy to put up. They are very long so most people would probably have to have a way of shortening them - they then need hemming as they'll fray otherwise.5
Blackout curtainsAnonymous reviewerThese curtains are well priced but do not completely shut out the light. They do make the room darker but not as effective as my other blackout curtains3
Excellent linings for sanela curtainsAnonymous reviewerBought these to line sanela curtains for added insulation on large windows. Thought the sheen of the fabric would make them tricky to sew when I cut them to length but was pleasantly surprised, the hemmed beautifully. I have hung them with the hooks supplied from the tape at the top of the curtains, this system works well but I may put in a few tack stitches down the leading edge of each curtain to stop the lining showing. These are a worthwhile addition to sanela curtains making them seem thicker.5
Lovely curtainsAnonymous reviewerGreat value for money look very expensive Greer quality5
Barely cut out light and have annoying hooksAnonymous reviewerThese curtains are ok if you only want to slightly dim the incoming light. If you want blackout curtains, do not buy these. The hooks supplied to fix them are bizarre. They have no obvious way of working and the illustrations on the packaging are no help. I resorted to safety pins but old fashioned curtain hooks would do the job.1
They do not reduce light behind a curtainAnonymous reviewerI can still see the light through the curtain, not much difference than the one without...overpriced and should not be called 'darkening' lining in the description . Do not buy if you expect darkening or black out!1
Scarcely BlackoutAnonymous reviewerDouble thickness, they reduced light level, but not blackout by any means.1
