Adaptable DeskAnonymous reviewerA sensibly priced manual riser desk. Can change height of desk easily and was sturdier than some we looked at.5
Home office deskAnonymous reviewerGreat quality, large enough to have laptop, notes and additional monitor on it. Adjustable height is great for switching between working standing or sitting. 5
Great small deskAnonymous reviewerNice desk, easy to assemble and adjust to the desired height5
Excellent for my craft room Anonymous reviewerJust what I wanted, it's sturdy and easy to adjust the height of when wanted. Very versatile. 5
Great style, great value!Anonymous reviewerAn easy to assemble sit/stand desk which is both stylish and practical … desk top is easy to move up and down…and great price!! Really really happy with the purchase 5
Compact and good looking sit stand desk. Desk surface paint quality is a let downAnonymous reviewerReally nice desk, quite sturdy and compact. No problem with the mechanism. Easily switch from standing to sitting and back. 4 stars for this.
The fly in the ointment and the reason for one star is the desk top, it is very easily scratched, the paint comes off with normal day to day operations and looks tattered easily. So use a protective mat or make other arrangements.
Note: This desk is only covered by a 1 year warranty. So if you get in touch later, Ikea will not help with the desktop. 1
Dead on arrivealAnonymous reviewerThe mechanism for sit/stand was broken out of the box. Also when disassembling two bolts holding the horizontal bar stripped heads. And the bolts holding the tabletop to the base are fastened in plastic nuts, which also spin very easily.
Overall very disappointed with an rather expensive option. Will swap it for a Relatera. 1
Brilliant ProductAnonymous reviewerDesk was very easy to assemble. Good finish, sturdy and looks very professional.5
Work from home blessingAnonymous reviewerI have only provided 5 stars because there is no option to give 6.
Amazing product, great quality, so easy to assemble as well.
My colour combination is just great, expensive appearance too.
Fits laptop stand, laptop and plenty of space for additional screen, keyboard, mouse and mug with a drink and Swedish meatballs…
Shame I did not purchase sooner.5
DeliveryAnonymous reviewerAll good, in time, good service 5
A piece of cake to assemble but...Anonymous reviewerI did it in no time but realised when it's all done, screws are not complete! Mind you this is not the first time so this will be the last time with IKEA!4
Great desk perfect for working from homeAnonymous reviewerEasy to assemble, smooth action to adjust height.
Does exactly what is needed and expected at a great price5
Love the desk but not the finish on the desk topAnonymous reviewerI recently purchased this desk from IKEA, and I must say, the overall design and functionality are exactly what I was looking for—perfect for my home office setup. It's sturdy and provides ample workspace, which I truly appreciate. However, I have some reservations about the finish on the desk top. While the desk is well-constructed, the finish seems prone to scratches and doesn't feel as durable as I'd hoped. Also, it is not smooth to touch and leaves an unpleasant feeling when your hands are moving when writing. It detracts slightly from what is otherwise a fantastic product. Despite this, I would still recommend this desk to anyone looking for practical and stylish office furniture, though it might be wise to invest in a desk mat to protect the surface.4
So so good perfect Anonymous reviewerVery nice 5
DO NOT GET THISAnonymous reviewerIf this is going to be your main desk, please don't get it the hydraulics are awful and the desk will move up and down when you use it, I thought I would get used to it the longer I use it and it impossible just a poor product they don't even include this item in the buyback system, so I'm stuck with it. Please, don't buy it.1
Disappointed with ikea qualityAnonymous reviewerAfter a week, the table for both kids were found with white sport. So disappointed….1
Great deskAnonymous reviewerI bought this desk as I do not have much space to spare and I will now be working from home. At work I had a rise and fall desk due to health needs so needed to have the same at home. I don't have much strength but have no issue operating the desk. This was a concern as ideally I wanted one with a handle mechanism but Ikea's version is too big for my available space.
The desk is sturdy, no issues with wobbling, mechanism works well and I have space for my laptop, lamp, and usual desk accessories. I like that the desk has rounded corners which many of the others do not, I'm prone to knocking into furniture so this removes any worries. Great desk and very happy with my purchase. I would recommend if you are tight on space and need the ability to stand at your desk.
I put the desk together on my own and found the process easy to follow.5
Nice table, can adjust theAnonymous reviewerNice table, can adjust the height, useful5
Do Not Buy/ Avoid this Desk!Anonymous reviewerReceived a replacement Gladhojden desk, originally thought the design was a manufacturing fault but turns out after recieving another one. This is just how it is designed. It is a sit/stand desk that goes up and down using a little handle by pressing down on a gas strut. But there is only one in the right leg. So the left leg is completely hollow and free to bounce up and down. This is a terrible design and I highly recommend you do not purchase this. As it is highly unstable.1
Great for small spacesAnonymous reviewerInitially had misgivings about having only 100cm width for my monitor + laptop, but it's roomier than you think. I was able to fit a monitor stand with ease and still have ample space for laptop, coffee, books etc around the desk. Best feature for me is that it fits smaller rooms in London!
I should also mention that unfortunately I also had the same issue as other reviewers for the faulty handle. I recommend testing this first before you fully assemble the whole desk (just check that the gas part even lets you lift it up). IKEA did send through a replacement which was much better and worked as it should.
Using the sit/stand option is great value for the price. I dont have problems with lifting it up for standing, but there is a bit of force required to push it back down to sitting position. Might be a bit awkward to do regularly if you're a bit short like me (less than 5'5).4
