Product details
This sit/stand desk doesn't need electricity, so it can be placed anywhere and without messy cables.
You can easily adjust the height of the desk between 72 and 115 cm by holding and pinching the handle and then pushing the tabletop up/down until you have the desired position for standing or sitting.
The gas spring and the stable steel base allow the desk to be raised/lowered quietly, quickly and safely to a comfortable height.
Changing positions between sitting and standing helps you move your body so you both feel and work better.
Deep table top gives a generous work surface and lets you sit at a comfortable distance from the computer monitor.
The desk has a stylish, simple design with a matte finish.
Rubber feet underneath keep the foot-rest firmly in place on the floor and protect sensitive surfaces.
The melamine surface is durable, stain resistant and easy to keep clean.

Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

The fly in the ointment and the reason for one star is the desk top, it is very easily scratched, the paint comes off with normal day to day operations and looks tattered easily. So use a protective mat or make other arrangements.
Note: This desk is only covered by a 1 year warranty. So if you get in touch later, Ikea will not help with the desktop.
Dead on arrivealAnonymous reviewerThe mechanism for sit/stand was broken out of the box. Also when disassembling two bolts holding the horizontal bar stripped heads. And the bolts holding the tabletop to the base are fastened in plastic nuts, which also spin very easily.
Overall very disappointed with an rather expensive option. Will swap it for a Relatera.

Love the desk but not the finish on the desk topAnonymous reviewerI recently purchased this desk from IKEA, and I must say, the overall design and functionality are exactly what I was looking for—perfect for my home office setup. It's sturdy and provides ample workspace, which I truly appreciate. However, I have some reservations about the finish on the desk top. While the desk is well-constructed, the finish seems prone to scratches and doesn't feel as durable as I'd hoped. Also, it is not smooth to touch and leaves an unpleasant feeling when your hands are moving when writing. It detracts slightly from what is otherwise a fantastic product. Despite this, I would still recommend this desk to anyone looking for practical and stylish office furniture, though it might be wise to invest in a desk mat to protect the surface.

Great for small spacesAnonymous reviewerInitially had misgivings about having only 100cm width for my monitor + laptop, but it's roomier than you think. I was able to fit a monitor stand with ease and still have ample space for laptop, coffee, books etc around the desk. Best feature for me is that it fits smaller rooms in London!
I should also mention that unfortunately I also had the same issue as other reviewers for the faulty handle. I recommend testing this first before you fully assemble the whole desk (just check that the gas part even lets you lift it up). IKEA did send through a replacement which was much better and worked as it should.
Using the sit/stand option is great value for the price. I dont have problems with lifting it up for standing, but there is a bit of force required to push it back down to sitting position. Might be a bit awkward to do regularly if you're a bit short like me (less than 5'5).

I am currently waiting for a replacement frame to arrive. I am hoping it is just faulty and this isn't the actual design. For £200.00, I would expect alot more. Overall finish is very good.
Solid desk but faulty movementAnonymous reviewerThe desk looks and feels great. Super sturdy and easy to put together. I opted for the sit / stand to adjust the height as I am fairly tall. However the "gas spring" component was not working so couldn't adjust the height. Have notified Ikea and they are sending a replacement (hopefully it will be working). As an FYI, it seems to be a reoccurring issue.

DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI bought this last weekend for working from home. I liked the smaller length of 100cm which is hard to find for sit stand desks. I wasn’t bothered that it’s a manual operation, given that in the store pulling the lever automatically brings the desk up - but mine doesn’t do that! I have to pull the leaver, and physically pull the desk up - and with some force. Tempted to send it back.
