Note to US users - do not use on stove!Anonymous reviewerSorry I don't have this teapot but was alarmed to see that someone in the US put this teapot on the stove and found it shattered. You don't put teapots on the stove!!! You boil water in a kettle, pour the hot water onto teabags or tealeaves in the pot and leave it to brew for five minutes. You should NEVER put a teapot on the stove, that is not how you make tea. I am in the UK, so we know how to use teapots and how to make tea. Actually appalled (although also amused) that IKEA replied to the comment about the shattering teapot apparently also without knowing that a teapot does NOT go on a burner. *facepalm*3
