Worst scales I've ever used Anonymous reviewerThey are difficult to intentionally turn on, but will turn themselves on when you slightly knock them by accident. Difficult to tare, having to press multiple times. They turn themselves off mid measurement. They jump weight in a split second. The battery compartment seems too big, so the batteries are always coming loose and I have to reinstall. Wish I had read reviews before purchasing, I can't understand how these are still for sale with how terrible they are.

Very short timeoutAnonymous reviewerLooks great. Buttons a bit annoying. Timeout infuriatingly short (about 20 seconds). You tare it, and start putting things in... if there's a 20 seconds gap, it turns off, and you are starting from 0 again.

Doesn't switch on or off manuallyAnonymous reviewerThe digital munbers are very clear, that's why it gets 2 stars, but it doesn't switch on or off manually and is very sensitive, will easily go on whilst stored in the cupborad. (it doesn't even come in a box to store in). The batteries didn't last long due to it always going on itself, and it needs 4 aaa batteries

Totally useless - won't be using them.Anonymous reviewerI was adding ingredients to my bread maker. Adding the last few grams of flour and the display suddenly jumps from 395 to 403. Next adding water, trickling in the last few grams again and it turns off! The damn thing won't stay on long enough to measure more than a single item. I thought the top was glass but it's plastic and scratched after one use. The packaging said accuracy was Div.1g Which looks like 0.1g to me which is why I bought it but no, its just 1g and Div. is short for divisions. It requires 4x AAA batteries - my old machine does a much better job with a single button cell which lasts years.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
