Totally useless - won't be using them.Anonymous reviewerI was adding ingredients to my bread maker. Adding the last few grams of flour and the display suddenly jumps from 395 to 403. Next adding water, trickling in the last few grams again and it turns off! The damn thing won't stay on long enough to measure more than a single item. I thought the top was glass but it's plastic and scratched after one use. The packaging said accuracy was Div.1g Which looks like 0.1g to me which is why I bought it but no, its just 1g and Div. is short for divisions. It requires 4x AAA batteries - my old machine does a much better job with a single button cell which lasts years.

Attractive and accurateAnonymous reviewerThese are attractive, easy to clean and have a very clear display. They are able to be hung on the wall, which is handy. My only complaint is that they are a little too easy to switch on accidentally, but they turn themselves off after 20 seconds, so the battery shouldn’t go flat.
FrustratingAnonymous reviewerThe scales look nice and work well. The frustrating part is the display goes off way too quickly. If the weight is stable for 20 seconds, then the screen goes off. I’ve had it go off even whilst weighing something. It retains the measurements, but it’s just inconvenient. It takes a fair amount of AA batteries so there’s no reason this couldn’t have been extended to 2 mins for convenience. Would have returned if the cost of travel didn’t outweigh the refund.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
