Difficult to get drawers to fitAnonymous reviewerHaving bought and assembled Ikea furniture for many years with no problems, we ignored the “hard to assemble “ reviews. The cabinet was easy and the drawers, although trickier proved no problem. However, putting the two together was a nightmare! The instructions are just not good enough. After several days of ‘having another go’, trying every forum online and doing several online chats, we eventually managed to complete the filing cabinet so that each drawer now opens independently but unfortunately, the bottom of each drawer sticks out, so the front is not nice and flush. We are reluctant to fiddle with it anymore as at least it works.3
let down by round hanging rails Anonymous reviewerFinding hanging folders that fit is a real pain because instead of using straight rails Ikea uses round rails. As a consequence all my hanging file folders don't fit properly.

Very versatileAnonymous reviewerThey look very nice and it was a relatively easy solo assembly (although another person would make it notably easier). It is just a little tougher than the average home furniture build. Bought for the versatile width - allows me to store a wider range of documents (notably fitting foolscap size) than I found with other filing cabinets. Really love the look. The price is slightly misleading as you do have to add delivery so make sure you account for that. 5

Looks great, incredibly hard to assembleAnonymous reviewerHonestly, it's one of the worst pieces of furniture I have assembled from Ikea. The piece is overly complicated for the sake of being complicated. The instructions are very difficult to understand. The piece looks great, but the drawers themselves were so difficult to connect, made worse that the pre-drilled holes were slightly out. 1
