Delcious. A proper curd cheesecakeAnonymous reviewerDelicious. As someone above (below?) has said oit is like a good Polish homemade (curd) cheesecake (sernik), which is not sweet and can be sweetened with fresh fruit or fruit compot. Plus great it has not got a biscuity base.5
Great to see in UKAnonymous reviewerThis is something we swedes miss from home 🇸🇪5
OstkakaAnonymous reviewerIt was very nice, as it should be in Sweden.5
Tired flavoursAnonymous reviewerPoor flavour and tired. Didn't work as a frozen product. 1
. Horrible texture and tasteless Anonymous reviewerTo be honest it was a disgusting experience al round neither myself or my husband ate it. It got throw in the bin1
Not sweet treat Anonymous reviewerNo my fav dessert from IKEA. Wasn't quite sweet enough for cheesecake. Great texture and mild flavour. Not sure I would buy again. 3
taste of childhood Anonymous reviewerI love this, but as a Swede it is a taste of home. I bought the last two in the shop and would have bought more. 5
Frodinge Anonymous reviewerLovely ostkaka. So happy Ikea has started stocking proper swedish food again. 5
Great tasteAnonymous reviewerOverall great pudding4
Delicious (proper) cheesecakeAnonymous reviewerThis was amazing. It tasted like homemade Polish cheesecake, ie made with curd cheese and eggs and very little sugar, hardly any base. Perhaps a bit of info on the packet about how it differs from what people in the UK associate with cheesecake. IKEA might point out on the label that in Europe our cakes are often sweetened with fresh fruit/ compot?5
Worst thing I've bought from IkeaAnonymous reviewerUsually a lover of all things Ikea, however when i saw this cheesecake I was extremely disappointed. Thinking it would be like the texture of the cheesecake that they sell in the cafe, I was excited as I even hadfrozen summer fruits at home that i thought i could enjoy with it. When I defrosted it though, first it was difficult to get the lid off as felt like it was stuck to the top, difficult to get out, I put some into a dish and thought I'd try a mouthful, but the texture was awful, it was a curdled texture that had held alot of wayer from being frozen. It was so bad i had to spit it out straight away and didn't even swallow any. Safe to say the rest went straight in the bin. 1
Excellent desert Anonymous reviewerA lovely dessert which we will buy again next time we visit ikea5
CheesecakeAnonymous reviewerCooked the cheesecake as instructed, very hot when it came out, allowed to cool, not so keen on texture.3
Super yummy creamy and silky dessertAnonymous reviewerLove this dessert with warm cloudberry Jan and whipped cream or ice cream5
Cheese cake Anonymous reviewerCake was ok nothink special ok for coffee i dont like bits on the inside cheese cake 2
A Taste of Swedish MemoriesAnonymous reviewerForget everything you know about cheesecake—Swedish cheesecake is a completely unique experience! Unlike the creamy, dense cheesecakes you find in cafes, this Scandinavian gem is more like a sweet, rustic cottage cheese pie. To enjoy it at its best, warm it up in the oven until it’s fragrant and warm throughout. Then, serve it with a generous dollop of whipped cream and a spoonful of tangy-sweet cloudberry jam. Each bite is an adventure of flavour and texture, unlike anything you’ve tasted before. Trust me—you won’t regret adding this to your dessert lineup!5
