It does not fit on the side as the leg is in the way so it's fine at the back but it means moving the table when i want to access it. I have a 4 socket plug with switches and it fits perfectly. A small modification could be made to this product to fit a laptop charger.5

Useful but needed a little adaptionAnonymous reviewerA useful cable tidy. I've had to do a little bit of DIY to make it work for me as the mounting screws don't close enough to attach to my desk which has a thinner work top than its been designed for.
Despite that I'll probably get more to run the length of my desk to keep things neat.
Would also be nice to be able to mount it to the SKÅDIS pegboard4
Difficult to tighten when under deskAnonymous reviewerThe design isn’t great if you want it under the desk, as it’s very tricky to tighten the screws. I have small hands and could barely get to the screws because the gap between the desk and the tray is too narrow. Plus, the screws take up a lot of space inside the tray, so you lose about 14cm of real estate - not good if you want to put a long extension lead in there (I could just about fit a 4 socket, but I wanted 5 really.)
Another gripe is the bar that goes across the end is just low enough that you can’t fit anything under it, so all the cables have to go above it, which lifts up the ext lead making the whole thing a bit clunky.
Also; check the width of your extension lead. This tray is narrow, and some of the chunkier ext leads with individual switches probably won’t fit.3
