Reviews
Set of 4 knivesAnonymous reviewerTerrible. 2 were rusty so I threw them away.
I've given 3 stars for value as they were quite cheap so didn't think I could fault that. I'm hoping the knives I bought were a faulty one-off item.
fortify knivesAnonymous reviewermatch a cutlery set I have and needed extra knives. brilliant!
Basic knives Anonymous reviewerMy son seems to lose knives in his new flat and these are good basic knives. Not great for steak
Great cutleryAnonymous reviewerI love this range of cutlery. They look sleek and the knives are sharp and manage thick cuts of meat well.
Cheap and cheerful knivesAnonymous reviewerI bought these to use while on holiday abroad. I did not want to get anything expensive. However, the steel they are made from seems ok. I meant to buy the more expensive ones (Dragon) but they were out of stock.
Great product Anonymous reviewerInexpensive cutlery which lasts. Shame it didn’t come in a box set. You had to buy it all separately. Looks good even after washing
Really lovely Anonymous reviewerGreat item, would recommend. Good quality and very reasonably priced
Cutlery Anonymous reviewerGood item
Extra cutlery neededAnonymous reviewerI was thrilled to find these items, as I bought this item many years ago and needed extra pieces.
Fornuft knivesAnonymous reviewerNot used yet bought these knives to use at Christmas so I had all the same cutlery they feel very sturdy which I like
Not recommended Anonymous reviewerCheap design with poor metal quality
Knifes and bedside tablesAnonymous reviewerKnifes were cheap in price I would give average but time will tell as some do go rusty
Bedrock cabinets so disappointed bought these to match a cabinet we bought some years back from ikea from same range they have now changed the finish to cheap painted wood which di not match
Fork Anonymous reviewerExcellent value for money and very efficient to use
Great value Anonymous reviewerLovely everyday cutlery, comfortable to handle and a great price

SortedAnonymous reviewerDid the job, brilliant price
Great value for moneyAnonymous reviewerLoved the shape and weight of these, easy to use and cut perfect. However, packaging could be changed as not easy to remove! Not helpful at all for elderly people.
Anonymous reviewerGood utensils. Sharpe for all food types
Cheap, but have changed shape from the old onesAnonymous reviewerI already owned a FÖRNUFT set (purchased probably about 2 years ago) and I;d been after some extras for them, as we needed more, However i hadn't seen them on the shelves in Ikea for quite some time. Then on the last trip i noticed they were back, so got a set of 4 for each; unfortunately none of them are quite the same design as the previous set. The knives haven't been rounded off in quite the same way making them feel a bit cheaper, the forks and teaspoons are also very slightly different shape. I would imagine they've tried to take some of the production cost out of the product. Don't get me wrong, they're still good value, but if you've already got items in this range and are just looking to replace or add to it, I'd probably check that the items match properly.

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
