Induction hobs are extremely energy efficient, fast and precise as induction technology transfers energy directly into magnetic cookware.

With this induction hob with an integrated extractor hood, you have a better overview and accessibility to the hob since you don’t need a regular extractor hood over the cooking area.

The hob is perfect in an open-plan kitchen with, for example, a kitchen island in the middle of the room, but works just as well in a regular kitchen along a wall.

The extractor hood automatically adjusts to the heating level on the hob – the higher the heat, the more powerful the extraction capacity.

All zones have a booster function that quickly makes the zone extra hot – ideal for boiling water, browning meat and frying wok dishes.

The hob's zones are flexible and can be used separately or connected to larger zones – depending on how large the cookware is that you’re using.

  • Cord/cable not included. Wired-in installation. Installation must be made by a qualified electrician or specialist.

    If you install the hood for re-circulation in a kitchen island, you can choose if you want to direct the outgoing air out into the room from the plinth or via the back of the kitchen island.

    The hood can be installed either for re-circulation with charcoal filter and pipes, or as an extractor hood with pipes.

    Water that runs down the fan is collected in a water container that is easy to remove and empty.

    Charcoal filter and pipes for installation are included.

    Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or sharp tools which can scratch the surface.

    Clean spills on the cooking surface as soon as possible.

Very BigAnonymous reviewerBought this for our new kitchen (not ikea) and when fitting you need 8cm at the back plus the depth of the hob. This isn't in the manual so be careful. Additionally it overhangs into the carcass of the unit on either side. Assume that this will fit in an ikea kitchen unit, but I had to bring it back unfortunately.3
Strongly recommend venting externallyAnonymous reviewerWe bought this hob in 2022 and were initially impressed by its clear layout, user-friendly controls, easy cleaning, and efficient heating. We used the recirculation option with the supplied charcoal filter, maintaining it per instructions. After two years, we noticed a greasy smell when using the extractor. The issue is a design flaw: you can't open the fan unit for cleaning, which causes the smell. Cleaning the grease filter didn't help. We tried to order a new charcoal filter via IKEA but were redirected to Hotpoint. Their customer service was poor; we were passed between departments, and no one knew about the hob or filter. Eventually, we were quoted £150 for a new filter. We doubted replacing it would solve the smell since the fan unit can't be cleaned. We decided to vent externally, which made a big difference. If considering this hob, we strongly advise against using recirculating mode. Also, consider alternatives with better filtering and cleaning access.3
Works fine until you need to change the charcoal filter.....Anonymous reviewerI've spent an hour trying to remove the plastic casing for my Fordelaktig hob. Due to the way its installed it's impossible to get at all the screws so I can't remove the casing. Design disaster from IKEA. Decent enough to cook with.3
Soooo good!Anonymous reviewerAs we have just moved house I couldn't live without this hob, so I've purchased another for my new kitchen. Having the extractor in the centre of the hob works soooo much better than a traditional hood type. It's 5 stars all round apart from fitting the extractor outlet, especially when you want to vent it out of a side wall underneath the cabinets, hence the 3 stars. But it can be done just takes a little thought on behalf of the kitchen fitter. My fitter has had to do it twice now so he's asking me not to move again!5
