An all-season duvet in soft cotton, filled with duck down and feathers.
Three duvets in one; one cooler duvet and one warmer duvet which can be combined to make an extra warm duvet, thanks to the snap fasteners.
This duvet provides the perfect level of warmth throughout the year since it comprises 1 light warm and 1 warm duvet that can be joined together or taken apart.
A good choice if you want to vary the warmth of your duvet depending on the season.

Disgusting smellAnonymous reviewerIt smelled absolutely disgusting, like all the farmyard animals put together. I had it dry-cleaned, but the smell didn’t come out. I then washed it, but that didn’t get rid of it either. The smell is unbearable — it smells like a dead animal.
My son is going to university very soon, and I bought it especially for him, but it is simply not in a usable condition. The smell is nauseating, unbearable, and so strong that it fills the entire room.

poppers!Anonymous reviewerThese duvets are large (obviously, king size) and relatively heavy so, to keep the two parts together, using a measly 8 poppers just isn't going to work - and it doesn't. If you pull up the duvet in bed a popper is likely to undo. The result is the duvets separate. This happens within a day of putting the duvet in the cover and the only solution is to remove it and re-popper. And that's often twice weekly. There are eight poppers. !4 would work better. But, like with other brands, buttons and button holes might work better. To pay about £100 for a set of duvets that always come apart within a day or two is a joke. The duvets themselves are OK and warm enough. I haven't encountered the smell issue. I'm going to add the buttons and button holes.

GloriousAnonymous reviewerI’ve always had a 13.5tog feather & down duvet which I loved. However, I’m now a “lady of a certain age” and hot sweating like it’s my last day on earth. I needed a lighter duvet. I was loathe to give up my lovely old duvet. But, this one is just glorious. It’s crisp. It’s fluffy. It’s warm enough and cool enough at the same time. I actually had my first night of unbroken sleep (possibly because I was no longer being slow cooked under my 13.5tog 😉) in a long time so I’m sold. Highly recommend.
The only small criticism I have is it’s quite smelly. Even after about 2 weeks it’s still quite chemical, but nothing that causes any issue.

With past experience of buying beddings from Ikea, this has never happened before. Seeking advice from staff members, they said it was normal and only recommended us to wait for the smell to fade away by itself. However, after a few months till now, the smell is still really strong. This experience is really disappointing and I have lost trust in IKEA’s products.

Lovely and warm after a couple of nights allowing the filling to “fluff up”. Much better than the one it replaced. No strange smell even from the first night. Would happily buy again if I needed to.

2nd purchaseAnonymous reviewerI bought this quilt a few years ago for a double bed and have now re-purchased for a king size. I prefer a heavier quilt and as the filling is more feather than down it feels warm for a cold, winter bedroom. I would recommend!

How to care for your down/feather duvet
With a little care, you can prolong the life of your down/feather duvet and keep it fresh. The filling has a natural smell which can be reduced by airing or washing. Wash the duvet separately with a mild detergent (1/3 of the normal amount) on delicate cycle at 60°C. Avoid bleach/fabric softeners. Tumble dry immediately on low heat. A dryer ball or a high-quality tennis ball in the dryer will ensure more efficient drying. Air your duvet regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
