TJENA were betterAnonymous reviewerI'm not a fan of the n
metal screws, completely over engineered. I use TJENA to store craft stamps stood up. The bolts now get in the way and you cant flip through the them. The design is not as nice. I glued mine and binned the bolts but the fact they bow and are slightly smaller still causes issues. I dont like the handle gap either. I wish the old style TJENA were still available.

Poor DesignAnonymous reviewerI bought similar box last year to use as Christmas hamper box. New design is quite poor compared to previous. The holes don’t align properly so getting the screw through can take quite a bit of manoeuvring and then it’s fiddly trying to put the back of the screw on. Once assembled it’s ok but there are gaps down the bottom of the sides.
Large storage boxAnonymous reviewerIn my experience, I do not like the way this box is assembled compared to the previous model of this box , which I believe has been phased out. It is trickier to put together and when it is together large gaps can be seen where some sides don't quite pull together, even when the screw part is tightened. It is also double the price of the original box and 1 cm smaller. I do not think it is value for money compared to the original. I do not understand why the original model was discontinued/ hard to find. Having said that, once together they don't look too bad. I wouldn't buy them again though.

Poor design.Anonymous reviewerFunctional, yes. But the design is very poor compared with previous similar self assembly storage boxes. If you want them to be on display, you will be disappointed, but fine for use in a cupboard or out of sight.
The main issue is the lack of an extra screw down each side, so they bow out. Same for the bottom but less of an issue when filled up.

Size has changedAnonymous reviewerI recently purchased some Fjaderharv boxes having been very happy with the previous Tjena boxes. I was very disappointed to discover that they are marginally smaller, despite being advertised as the same size. I had been using them for football programmes but now they don’t quite fit. I support bringing back Tjena!!
