When you combine steam and hot air you get optimal humidity and heat levels, which keeps food soft and moist on the inside, crisp and brown on the outside.

The self-cleaning function makes it easier for you to clean the oven, as grease and food residue are burned to ashes that can be easily brushed off.

The fan-forced air convection spreads the heat quickly and evenly, so you can cook or bake several dishes at once without flavours spreading between them.

2 sets of fully extendable telescopic rails make it easier and safer when loading the oven and taking out hot dishes.

By using the integrated meat thermometer with temperature sensor you can perfectly cook any type of meat without monitoring the cooking process.

The preset cooking programs make it easier for you to choose the right settings for different recipes and foods.

You can store and update your favourite recipes in the oven's memory, along with the right temperature and cooking time for each.

Extra generous interior dimensions and 5 cooking levels ensure you have plenty of room for the food you want to cook.

The touch control and large, easy grip knob are both ergonomic and make the oven easy to use and clean.

Top and bottom heating is ideal for cooking dishes with a crispy finish and for slow cooking of casseroles.

You can easily choose the best grill function to cook thin cuts of meat and vegetables or to brown gratins and steaks.

Turbo grill allows you to grill, brown and cook larger dishes and meat all the way through.

The special pastry function can help you to get the perfect moist topping on your baked cookies and pies.

The bread/pizza baking function gives your food a more intense brown outside and a crispy bottom.

The warming program enables you to keep food warm without becoming overcooked or burnt.

The fast preheat function warms up the oven quickly.

With the special programs included you can control the rising of dough before baking, dry and preserve food or sterilize container.

A heat-insulated quadruple-glazed door with a childproof lock increases safety in your kitchen.

The soft close door quietly shuts the oven without slamming and ensures food won’t be jolted.

Easy to install at a comfortable work height in a base cabinet or high cabinet.

Reviews

Not built to lastAnonymous reviewerThe internals of this oven are made of metals that rust! This means that the screws holding the panels and grill element corrode and fall out! My oven is falling apart. 1
Not durable at allAnonymous reviewerThe inside of the oven or screws are made of material that rusts. After three years of owning the oven the internal panels and grill element were falling off. We got it fixed under warranty but other parts continued to rust. For an oven so expensive this is terrible. It won’t last more than six years, which is just beyond the life of the warranty. 1
Great oven Anonymous reviewerEasy to use. Lots of functions which we’ve not yet tried. Oven tells you when to clean which is great so we’ve always got a nice clean oven. Highly recommend.5
Great DesignAnonymous reviewerCompared to our old applianc this is not in the same league! Works and cooks beautifully. 5
Not recommendedAnonymous reviewerI don't understand how this has such good reviews, considering its major flaws. The internals are bizarre. The shelves are not flat and, if you leave them as the installer put them in, you have to battle to lift your hot containers out over the lip. The catch pans/trays are badly made, so that they BOING! and warp as they heat up and are rather flexible under load. You also can't put them in the dishwasher, although i suspect that is because they have rolled edges and will commence rusting as soon as you do. No grill pan, with handles. Like its combination companion, it suffers from intense condensation after cooking, so you need to leave the door open to allow it to evaporate, even though the fan runs for ages after you have turned it off. For such a complex oven, a scrappy, limited instruction leaflet, comprised mainly of pictograms, is not sufficient. Unless you turn it off, the autoclean harrasses you with reminders to waste expensive energy almost constantly.1
Super efficient ovenAnonymous reviewerLove the looks & functions of this oven. The telescopic rails make life a lot easier and it’s much safer to pull-out. I also love the steam function and the pyrolytic self-cleaning. Doesn’t get too hot to touch because it has some four layers of glass. Easy to clean too. I haven’t used all of the cooking functions yet, but the grill & fast grill are great & quick. Not sure if all ovens do that, but it tells you when the selected temperature is achieved, so I know when it’s ready for me to put the tray of food in.5
Great cooking experience with my new ovenAnonymous reviewerI am very pleased with this oven. I combined it with the Mattradition microwave in my new kitchen. The oven has so many cooking options but I've only used steam, defrost, convection and fan, which is more than enough for my needs. The control dial takes a bit of time to get used to - it feels like it would have worked better as a touch control. The oven is very-well insulated, keeping the heat in the oven long after you've finished cooking. I bought this product because of the steam and pyrolotic cleaning functions, and it looks good too! It comes with lots of accessories and trays, and the capacity is amazing. Overall, I am very pleased with its performance and look.5
Impossible to turn onAnonymous reviewerThe worst oven I have ever owned. Don't buy, Impossible to turn on, shipped with several trees worth of installation instructions for the entire worlds languages. Worse thing is - I am now using the BBQ as this don't work!!!1
Great ovenAnonymous reviewerLooks better than in the pictures. Had to find an electrician to install it, shame that IKEA doesn't provide such a service. I especially use the steam regenerating function often to heat up food on a plate, much better taste than in a microwave. I find it quite confusing which function to use though and the manual is not clear at all, when to use steam and when not for example, or what's the difference between the pizza function and recepies pizza function? Overall good oven but needs a better manual. It also doesn't have WiFi.4
Excellent!Anonymous reviewerWhat a fantastic oven! Absolutely brilliant and very stylish and £200 cheaper than the John Lewis equivalent but with the integrated thermometer5
Finsmakare ovenAnonymous reviewerLove it does everything you want it too wish I hadn’t bought the matching microwave5
Hi tecAnonymous reviewerIt’s bit too complicated for my wife. I haven’t used any cooking function yet, but use standard oven function and it’s fast and very good.4

Kitchen appliances for the many

How can we best assist you in your cooking, without actually being in the kitchen? One way, is to make high quality appliances at prices that leave more money left for good ingredients. To make this happen, we’re working together with carefully selected suppliers – experts we feel are the best in their field at delivering what people need in their everyday. This allows us to offer fully equipped, functional kitchens, with appliances and all the other things you need, all in one place.

Creating good things becomes a whole lot easier when you work together. And when you do it with a good amount of trust and understanding, it becomes fun and interesting.

Aha-moments during the development

Bruno Lizotte, who works with product development at IKEA of Sweden in Älmhult, tells that the development of the kitchen appliances is done hand in hand together with the suppliers. “We have a lot of experience from life at home so we share our ideas and our knowledge to get the suppliers to see things from our perspective. Then we find solutions together to improve the life in and around the kitchen,” he says. In turn, the suppliers contribute with their expertise, for example hard facts on materials, technical solutions and innovations they have in the pipeline. “By being generous we learn from each other. It’s a way to challenge old truths about how things are supposed to be done. It usually leads to a couple of aha-moments for everyone involved,” notes Bruno.

Knowledge through home visits

Some of the knowledge that’s shared comes from IKEA home visits. It’s a method to see how people in different cultures live and manage with some of life’s ups and downs in their own homes. For example, we ask; what do you do in the kitchen, except cooking? How do you use the space? Do you have friends over? What would you like to improve? What are your hopes, dreams and wishes? “The insights we get from the visits are transferred to the people we work with so we can develop better products together, and create an easier life at home,” says Bruno.

Easier days in the heart of the home

Good kitchen appliances should fit with the rest of the kitchen and with the people who use them. We all have different needs, tastes and wallets. Some of us cook because we love to, some of us because we have to. That’s why a considerable amount of time in the development process is spent on creating a selection of durable products – in different styles, functions and price levels. And always with quality as the main focus. It means a whole deal of fine-tuning, trying ideas and choosing the ones that make most use for people. “Togetherness and enthusiasm are important words to us when we develop products. In short, it means to work with people that believe in the same cause as we do, but also to respect each other’s efforts. When we manage to live up to that, we can make a true difference and contribute to a better life at home for more people. That’s really something to aim for,” says Bruno.
