Safety and compliance
The cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

HumongousAnonymous reviewerI can fit all my hobby bits and bobs in this so they’re not all over the living room. Beware though, it is very big and could overpower a small space. Only problem now is that it’s too heavy to shift between seating areas now it’s full. I wonder if IKEA recommend any unobtrusive castors or sliders to make it moveable?

All for a smidge over £100.
It also doubles as a throw store, small table, part time dog bed 🤣 & of course a wonderful place to rest weary aching legs.

Stylish Anonymous reviewerThis is a lovely addition to my newly decorated living room. I use it to store 3 fleece throws. To rest my feet and with trsy it doubles as a coffee table .The added bonus of being able to buy extra covers in different colours means I can change the colour each time I decorate to match a new colour scheme. It took about 20 minutes to assemble so pretty easy but be aware that the cover is on tight so you will need a little strength to stretch it over the frame. We found finding the holes for the feet first and lining the holes up the easiest way to get it over the frame. Excellent value for money and a nice bit of useful storage too.
Lid needs a hingeAnonymous reviewerI bought this yesterday. Assembly is ok but fitting the top cover was a struggle. The zips on the top prevent one corner sitting correctly so it’s about 4mm higher than the rest. Design fault. Also the top is a nightmare to replace because you can’t see the locating knobs and the frame is far too flimsy to add hinges. Saying that I shall keep it but wouldn’t buy another one.
Lovely footstool/coffee table/extra seating Anonymous reviewerI bought this with a new chair to go with our existing 2 seat ektorp sofa, it has room for 2 pairs of feet & a tray for beverages. Also it will be great for extra seating when we have visitors (at least 2 extra botties) My only slight snag was when trying to put the stoppers in after putting on the cover, as the holes in the cover did not line up? Luckily they weren't too far off so with a bit of effort & stretching I managed to get them in. Other than that it is perfect for our needs. P.s. lots of storage space too!

Good Footstool Anonymous reviewerThis is a good footstool IF you have the Ektorp range of furniture. I tried to use it with another sofa but it did not work but that was my fault (took a risk). I had this footstool years ago before it had a storage unit. It is a good idea but would be so much better, more useful if it was on hinges. Overall, good footstool to go with Ektorp range.

It was very easy to assemble too.
