This durable cover is made from Karlshov, a yarn-dyed 100% cotton fabric with classic stripes. Natural materials make the fabric feel pleasant to the touch. The cover can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

We’ve just bought a new set of covers and are really disappointed that the seat covers are now only single sided. Those of us with children and grandchildren valued being able to turn over the cushion covers after accidents. For the sake of the cost of a metre of fabric per seat it’s taken cost cutting too far.

Very disappointingAnonymous reviewerI bought these to replace the covers I had originally ( quite some years ago) which had faded over time. These covers are a much softer fabric which I like and the seat covers are easier to fit but they are simply too big so they look terrible. They look permanently crumpled and untidy.

1. It has a lovely luxurious velvety feel and look.
2. It fits the existing main frame like a glove.
3. The upper 3 cushions ARE reversible, as in you can turn them around.
4. The bottom 3 cushions are not reversible but as far back as I can remember they never were !!
5. Great value for money.

Disappointed with the new coversAnonymous reviewerWhy have you discontinued the Videslund floral covers? They were very pretty and such good quality. The new ones are lifeless and very poor quality. I’m very disappointed with them, as I love my ektorp sofa and my old videslund covers have worn out.
Great covers to improve sofaAnonymous reviewerThe sofa covers are great for the ektorp sofas. They give opportunities to refresh the look of the sofas. They are also straightforward to wash. Missing 1 star as the covers for sofa cushions use a different fabric underneath. This limits their flexibility.
Nice upgrade,great colour.Anonymous reviewerVery happy with this,I love the colour,and the material feels warmer than the previous cover,also it looks like this cover can be washed normally and not dryclean only like the previous one.A bit expensive for what it is but cannot really fault it,the fit is good and best of all,it matches my lounge colour scheme.

I don't see the point in why IKEA make one sided cushions, only so you have to buy more quicker than if you could turn them over
