Fabric too delicate for my lifestyleAnonymous reviewerI bought a full set of these covers for my sofas and armchairs having checked them out online. The fabric was not what I had expected. Firstly, it’s a velour type fabric and the colour was much lighter than the internet images had appeared. Even just pulling one cover out of the packaging left marks where my clean fingers had touched it. So despite the fact that I’m a 60+ year old lady living with 2 dogs whose favourite spots on the furniture are covered with blankets, I feel these covers would look very shabby in no time at all. I have returned them, received an immediate refund and will make do with my original grey linen mix covers that have been washed dozens of times and still look just fine!

Great change-up look for my Ektorp sofaAnonymous reviewerHaving bought the Ektorp sofa in a beautiful green shade covers which I’ve had on for summer, I purchased the lighter replacement covers to brighten the room during winter time. The material is sturdy with a slight sheen, which I wasn’t expecting but worked out fine in the room. The weave is granier than the green cover, so could possibly get a few pulls due to dogs lying on it but a nice throw helps. I’d recommend using the IKEA app to see what a sofa would look like in your room. I thought that was brilliant and felt confident purchasing the sofa and covers online.
