Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.

Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Poor quality fabric, steep price tagAnonymous reviewerIKEA have changed the fabric to a cheaper alternative that comes from the factory with marks that looks like someone has ran their nails across all of the covers! They look hideous.
IKEA replaced and same again - take note that the green covers are the same fabric.
We have swapped for beige covers (more expensive, frustratingly) However, at least they look like new and are of a superior material.
Disappointed in the quality of late it apears that IKEA are sourcing cheaper materials that are then sold at the same or higher price tag - come on IKEA, you are turning customers off, go back to basics with choice and value for money....PLEASE!
Collapsed Chaise CushionAnonymous reviewerI bought this sofa in November 2024 so so it is 14 months old 🫤 it is in a room that has little use 🫤 the Chaise seat cushion had collapsed at the seating end 🫤 it’s now like sitting on a hill … high feet and low backside ☹️ I always fluff the cushions up and have turned the chaise cushion a number of times to no avail ☹️ also when sitting on the sofa I can feel the hard edge which is not comfortable atall ☹️ really not pleased as this sofa was expensive and I’m still paying for an item that is not fit for purpose … maybe Ikea would like to comment 😹 thank you 🫤
Excellent value replacement covers for my sofaAnonymous reviewerWe have had an Ektorp corner sofa for about 15 years. The covers were stained and faded. I was surprised to see that the material on the old covers was not washable. I bought a replacement set of covers from IKEA and am delighted with them. It makes the sofa look like new again, and best of all the new fabric is washable. Highly recommended. It wasn't hard to remove the old covers and put the new ones on.
