Reversible back cushions filled with polyester fibres provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear.
Seat cushions filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding give comfortable support for your body, and easily regain their shape when you get up.
You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
Hakebo cover feels soft and smooth and has a nice texture that makes the sofa comfortable and inviting.

Fab! Anonymous reviewerIgnore the bad reviews. This is my second ektorp chaise and they're fab. Iv had my current one 10 years with no problems and the previous one 5 years. I gave it to a friend as I was moving. Bravo ikea!
Collapsed Chaiss Longue CushionAnonymous reviewerBought in November 2024 so 14 months old 🫤 the chaise cushion has collapsed at the seating end ☹️ it’s like sitting on a hill with my feet at the high end ☹️ the sofa is in a room that seldom gets used … I would expect much more than 14 months from this sofa 🫤 I always fluff the cushion and turn it on a regular basis to no avail ☹️ I can feel the hard front if the sofa through the cushion which is uncomfortable ☹️ I’m not happy as it has had such limited use and was expensive 🫤 infact I am still paying for an item which is not fit for purpose ☹️ perhaps ikea would like to comment 🫤

Terrible Quality Cushions - Back Pain GuaranteedAnonymous reviewerWe purchased this couch in November 2023 for a new apartment having read the positive reviews in this section. We have been very disappointed from the start. Our issue has been that the pillows collapsed from the first or second use and have only gotten worse, despite fluffing them. The chaise is extremely uncomfortable, as others have since noted, and there is no support whatsoever. The other sections are only marginally better, but are overall remarkably uncomfortable. I am tall and thin, and find that this sofa creates serious back problems. My partner is much smaller, but confirms (as do visitors) that this sofa is uniquely unpleasant for people of all sizes. This is by far the worst piece of furniture I have owned, and far below Ikea's usual standards. We have attempted to make the best of the wasted space by supporting it with bed pillows, since the Ikea pillows no longer provide any cushioning. I am usually very happy with Ikea products, but the quality here is a disaster.
Ektorp chaise sofaAnonymous reviewerI already have an Ektorp sofa and absolutely love it, so knew this Ektorp chaise sofa would look good with it. It is so comfortable and was really easy to assemble. The fabric is not as good quality as my first though, so will think twice about getting another cover.

Do not buy L shape Anonymous reviewerI bought this sofa just over a year ago and the cushion that makes the L shape is completely useless. The leg rest part of the L shape is majorly higher than the rest of the sofa so it’s really uncomfortable. It’s worn very badly and looks like we’ve had it for way longer than we have. It was super cheap when we bought it and that’s why we went for it, but honestly I would of rather paid more for a sofa that I don’t have to replace only a couple of years later.
Ektorp CouchAnonymous reviewerThe couch was abit tricky to put together, and it was comfortable for about a month. After the first moth the cushion on the L shape part of the couch has collapsed. I contacted Ikea and was told to fluff it up after every use - we did this and the cushion has still collapsed. Its no comfortable and is under a year old! Really disappointed in the quality of this couch.
