Great little bedside tableAnonymous reviewerI bought two of these and added the black metal legs to be bedside tables. I was a bit worried about the build reading some reviews but this was the first ikea build I've done alone and I had no issues at all. The instructions for the black metal EKET legs I bought to add to the bottom for height suggested just a bradawl to get the holes made but as others suggested I chose to drill with a 3mm bit. Did the trick very quickly.
Great valueAnonymous reviewerReally finding these Eket cubes so easy to assemble and hang. I have several now in my home office, and they look great. The drawers included with this cube don’t quite accommodate A4 paper, but they do hide away envelopes and other things you don’t want on show. All the other cubes do take A4, so problem solved. Notice a few reviews are pretty negative about the fit and build, but I haven’t had any problems, in fact these cubes are becoming one of my favourite items from IKEA. Exceptionally versatile and well designed.

The cabinet fits together by ingenious keyhole slots cut into the chipboard. It took more force than expected to join sides to top/ bottom. Especially the last piece where you're engaging four keyholes.
The finish appears to be a vinyl wrap, so the chipboard surface shows through.

Brilliant bedside tableAnonymous reviewerBought this as a bedside table with the black metal legs as my Malm bedside table was too big. Perfect size for a bedside table and with the 10cm legs it’s the perfect height for a Malm bed. It was very easy to build apart from the legs not having predrilled holes, expect to have to use a hammer to get the sides together too! Drawers are super smooth and they are pretty decent for the price and size. Would definitely recommend these as size conscious bedside tables for small bedrooms!

DisappointedAnonymous reviewerI found these units very frustrating to put together, the instructions were not helpful and I wasn't really happy with their appearance or function. The clips that hold the units together were a nightmare to install - and i had to buy a further two packs because I wasn't given enough - to be honest I should just stuck with Kallax - it would taken a fraction of the time to build!
Good flexible storage but expensiveAnonymous reviewerGood flexible storage solution. Used several of them to make storage for bags, hats etc. Has a nice clean look with good amount of storage. The draws are push open and close but they don't always close evenly so takes a few attempts.
Other down side was cost. They are expensive and when you are purchasing several they quickly add up.
ReviewAnonymous reviewerTerrible Product. Impossible to assemble the shell, and never got to the drawers. The machine slots are too tight and far to shallow. Putting the fourth side on cannot be done with TLC, then with a mallet, then hammer, then brick. Replaced with two Tingby's and love them. No drawers, but do the basic job perfectly.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t flagged up to us that we would need to purchase the brackets to put these up separately. Ikea might want to alter their software to remind customers that they might need these as they go through the till.
