How to get it

A durable dining table that makes it easy to have big dinners. A single person can extend the table and there’s plenty of room for chairs since the legs are always located at the corners of the table.

Product details

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table from 6 to 8 and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

Designed for a perfect match with EKEDALEN chairs. ÄLVSTA, LIDÅS, KRYLBO and KARLPETTER chairs are also good matches with different style expressions.

The smart design means that the table top has no seams when you use the table without extending it.

The table legs are always in the corners of the table top even when the table is extended, so there is plenty of room for chairs under the table.

Every table is unique, with varying grain pattern and natural colour shifts that are part of the charm of wood.

This table has been tested against our strictest standards for stability, durability and safety to withstand everyday use in your home for years.

Lowering qualityAnonymous reviewerThe screws and other parts are lower in quality than previous purchased, and get eaten up/stripped easily by electric screwdriver. Leaf didn't match the main top (but close enough to not warrant a return, purely to avoid the inconvenience or returning the whole table) These recently went on sale then out of stock and eventually came back in stock - I wonder if this is when they made changes to lower the quality Hopefully not a direction all their products is going in. Overall still a good table for the price in spite of cost cutting measures3
Nice expanding table when neededAnonymous reviewerWent for the largest version so we wouldn't need the leaf for normal day to day use but have the facility to go large when needed. Love the way the legs move when expanded. Price was excellent only gripe is when partnered with the SVENARNE dining sofa is we have to move the table away from the sofa to get in and out as the legs line up with each other.5

“For me, the dining area is the given centre of the home. My idea with EKEDALEN series was to make a dining set for everything from large dinners to doing homework and crafts. The table is easy to extend, and since the legs follow the table when it’s extended, guests won’t have table legs in the way. The chairs are comfortable and the covers are machine-washable. Flexible and functional for modern homes."
