Poor bracketsAnonymous reviewerBrackets not fit for purpose, not strong enough to hold the unit. 3 brackets with suitable fixings and it was coming away from the wall before I packed my tools away. I had to purchase more brackets (not from ikea) which have held the unit to the wall using the same fixings I’d used when trying to fix with Ikea brackets.1

Would not buy againAnonymous reviewerFirst of all I thought the shelf was floating type and included everything need to hung it. Well it is not floating and now fitting. You have to buy brackets separately and they are ugly as hell! I would avoid this product! Oh again I thought the drawers were soft closing, well they are not, it sure why in todays day an age they are not?1
Good draw unit awful bracketsAnonymous reviewerThe shelf unit is good but the recommended Ramshult brackets do not come with any screws and the shelf does not have any holes to secure to the brackets. Had to screw them into the shelf myself. Brackets are poor in design as screws cannot be properly seated into keyhole plate. Fell off of the wall in a couple of weeks, now having to look for legs to support as the brackets are not good enough. Means that will not give the look was wanting. Would not recommend fitting as per all pictures as brackets are not strong enough for the weight of the unit.2

nice drawer unitAnonymous reviewerThe drawer unit is nice. The only problem I found is that the drawers are touching one of the screws and doesn't close smoothly. This would have been easily fixed however you can only find about it after finishing the unit with nails.4

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
