DYVLINGE swivel easy chair was launched in our 1967 catalogue with the name MILA. Then, just like now, with a sitting position that is naturally relaxing for the entire body.
In the Nytillverkad collection, the easy chair's cross base has 5 legs instead of 4 to minimise the risk of tipping.

Comfortable chair, impossible to take back apart.Anonymous reviewerIm moving and trying to take this chair apart and put it back together is impossible. The base doesnt come off, air sealed, the legs dont come off for the same reason. The back rest to the chair tilts down by pressing in the metal retaining nubs, but wont lock back in so it constantly just folds back down now. Whoever designed this should do better, theres no reason for these problems. If you dont consider the lifetime of the furniture, then you are creating stuff for the skip rather than long term furniture. Such a shame.
The chair was comfortable for about a month, but now the cushion has flattened and the chair creaks.Anonymous reviewerI bought this in May. For the first month it was very comfortable. I sit in it most days to relax after work and play my guitar. After a month and a half it developed a creak and the seat cushion has now flattened so 3 months from new it is no longer comfortable to sit in. It now has hard lumps that poke up through the cushion that make it quite uncomfortable. Very disappointing considering this is a £200 chair. I am considering contacting IKEA about a refund as a chair at this price should fair much better than this after just 3 months of use. Sadly I can't recommend this chair, despite it looking quite nice, and initially being quite comfortable. I definitely wouldn't buy it again.
Needs height adjustment!Anonymous reviewerIkea this is an extremely comfy chair, but we need a taller or height-adjustable version so it can be used at desk height! Not very practical for a small home.

However, very disappointed that it’s dropped in price by £70 in store 3 months after purchase and that I have no recourse (UK) to claim back the discount.

Exceptional comfortAnonymous reviewerAs somebody who suffers from chronic pain, I have tried and tested many chairs over the years, particularly chairs that allow me to work in comfort or sit for long periods of time. This chair exceeded all of my expectations from this perspective. I find it really comfy, great for working on my laptop, and it's a nice classic design. My only criticism is that it would benefit from a couple of nicer colours

I've had mine about 6 months and use it daily, when my cat isn't commandeering it. Many reviewers comment on it being low down - it is - but this is actually why I bought it, as I have very short limbs and most standard chairs are completely unsuitable for me. If there were more than 2 bright colours on offer I would buy 1 of each! Absolutely love this chair and such a reasonable price for the quality. You will not regret getting one of these chairs!

(We saw a review about the chair going hard after 6 weeks, but we’ve not had an issue with that.) We love the pop of orange in our neutral kitchen-diner. We love that we can swivel to look out the patio doors or towards the kitchen. We love the retro look and feel of these chairs. They’re comfortable and give good support in the back. They are a little low, so they may be difficult for some people to get out of… my 69 year old hubby had a bit of difficulty to start with, but he has no problems now. They are so easy to put together. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than other IKEA chairs… but you get what you pay for. And these are lovely!
