This triangular shade sail provides shade on the terrace at home, at a campsite or wherever needed. Easy to attach to sturdy connection points – like your house or other buildings, trees and posts.

Product details

The fabric gives very good protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 25+, which means it blocks 96% of the ultraviolet radiation.

Easy to keep clean and fresh as the fabric can be machine-washed.

Amazing canopyAnonymous reviewerI purchased the canopy as we have a very long window at the back of our home that gets a lot of sunlight during summer. I thought the canopy was a wedge shape but its actually a triangle. This made it more ideal as it only gives some shadow on the window and also provides ample protection outside for my kids. A little tricky to secure to the house but worth it. All that and machine washable.5

Material

What is polyester?

Polyester is a durable, quick-drying and insulating material that is optimal to use for textiles and as filling in pillows, quilts and furniture. The material is made from crude oil – a limited resource. Since IKEA doesn’t want to contribute to more virgin oil being used, we are now gradually switching to recycled and traceable polyester from sources like PET bottles. What’s nice is that polyester can be recycled over and over, without changing or losing its great qualities.
