Beautiful Design, But Lacking StabilityAnonymous reviewerI recently purchased a table from IKEA and while it certainly looks stylish and fits beautifully into my home, I’ve been disappointed with its stability. Despite following the assembly instructions closely, it’s impossible to get the tabletop to sit firmly without wobbling. No matter how much I tried to adjust the fittings, the table remains unstable. This could be a manufacturing flaw or a poor design, but unfortunately, it doesn’t deliver on the expected quality. A real shame, as the aesthetic is fantastic, but the lack of sturdiness makes it impractical for daily use.

Nice table but wobblyAnonymous reviewerI have had this table for 7 years. It has survived a house move but unfortunately has not survived two small children who are a bit stabby with their forks. It has always been wobbly but as long as you don't lean on it it's fine. The surface of ours is now covered in holes where the kids stabbed it and then the MDF underneath swells up from being wet when wiping the table. Looks terrible but given the price and how long we've had it and what a hard life it's had, I would say it doesn't owe us anything. Waiting until tiny stabbers stop stabbing before replacing.

After a while we noticed that the top had 3 marks on the surface where the coating had come off even though it has been carefully looked after. The description says that it’s resistant to scratches and bumps but this is obviously misleading. Looks great - poor quality!

Can’t rest on it and it can skate around a bit. We’re going to try to get something underneath the pedestal to stop that. Lucky we have no children in the house. So it’s okay. It won’t be suitable around young children. We’re keeping it for the looks. IKEA you need to look at the wobbly table top. It’s all over the Internet, as we found out, belatedly.
Poor Quality and unstableAnonymous reviewerThis table was just what we wanted, a sleek retro design that went in our new kitchen. However the quality is very disappointing. The table is very unstable due to the hollow plastic base, hot drinks are easily spilled if you lean on the table due to excessive rocking. The top started to wear on the edges after 6 months with just gentle cleaning and the surface top is also easily scratched. Would not recommend.
