not a good purchaseAnonymous reviewerechoing other reviews here - seems cute, but it doesn't actually pour well at all, the cap falls into the stream and the seals aren't up to scratch. rare miss for ikea1
Lovely addition to my cupboardAnonymous reviewerI was sick of the big bottles of vinegar taking up space in my cupboard so when i saw this bottle it was more than ideal as it takes up less space and ive only got to top it up when its running low xx5
Difficult to pour and leaksAnonymous reviewerThis is both very difficult to pour without shaking it up and down, the lid is very flimsy and it leaks oil around the rim when you use it. 1
Very small, not what I was hoping for !Anonymous reviewerI thought it would be a beautiful addition to my kitchen, but it's very small, and the oil flow is just okay; you have to shake/flick it, which means oil can end up going elsewhere than in the pan. I wouldn't recommend it2
Almost unusable as an oil bottleAnonymous reviewerNo idea how this item got through the design checking stage. Oil (Extra Virgin) or dressing mix fails to make it through the tiny tube spout, which means you have to shake vigorously in order to help it on its way and for some time. The fiddly cap to stop air getting in has no spring or similar, so has often to be manually flipped back. There's no plastic/rubber seal inside the cap, so contents not guaranteed to leak - and the cheap metal of the cap emits a scratchy sound when being put on (small complaint, but somehow significantly annoying). All in all - which very seldom happens when shopping in Ikea - I felt I paid over the odds for a poorly designed product. A total guess, but would be surprised if the item cost more than 50p to produce, giving a very attractive profit margin given it retails at 3 quid.
Designer is apparently Friso Wiersma, and searching for other designs it seems this is his first foray into a kitchen accessory collection. More checks needed.1
oil bottleAnonymous reviewerIts new so not a lot to say as it hasn't been used. It seems the normal very good functional Ikea product.4
Bought two citronhaj bottlesAnonymous reviewer“I moved the large oil bottles from my usual workspace to keep the area clear. Now that I only keep two bottles there, I have more room in the kitchen space — much more practical5
Vinegar bottleAnonymous reviewerSmall perfect for condiments works well with salt/pepper mills5
Great sizeAnonymous reviewerJust the right size for a quick drizzle of olive oil5
Useful table oil/vinegar serving bottleAnonymous reviewerUseful table oil/vinegar serving bottle in a small, functional container. Looks good, no oil or vinegar dripping and good value!5
Small bottleAnonymous reviewerPerfect little bottle for cooking oil in the kitchen5
great handy vinegar bottle Anonymous reviewergreat handy vinegar bottle with a tiny flip lid for sprinkling5
Too small Anonymous reviewerSmaller than I expected. Didn’t end up being very useful 2
Disappointing Anonymous reviewerTerrible design, it struggles to work. It won't come out, so you have to start wiggle pieces around and it eventually just all leaks out. It's sad that recently every "affordable" piece I bought from IKEA it's going straight in the bin. Not a very sustainable approach.1
Great purchaseAnonymous reviewerExactly what we needed, perfect size. 5
Useful kitchen accessory Anonymous reviewerVery useful for drizzling oil onto food. Easy to fill, well-controlled flow, easy to clean, much better than pouring oil direct from a bottle. 5
Terrible designAnonymous reviewerLooks great, but terrible design. Barely works & it leeks. 1
Too easy clogged upAnonymous reviewerHole is too small and clogs up to easily,
Or doesn’t pour at all. Fine if for just vinegar.3
Perfect stuff I was looking for. Anonymous reviewerI wanted an elegant looking effective and useful at an ideal size for one person use... IKEA makes the best home needs I must admit. 5
Does the JobAnonymous reviewerDoes the job, easy to use. 5
