The side table is light and small enough to lift with one hand, and the handle makes it easy to carry around the home.

The handle is bent in a way that gives you a good grip and good balance when carrying things on the table.

Thanks to the height of the handle there’s enough room for things like bottles and vases.

The table top has extra high edges, so that things don’t slide off when you carry the side table.

The clear-lacquered surface is easy to wipe clean and is stain resistant.

We used google to find out where to buy one , it was Ikea so I immediately put one into basket to purchase on arrival home . Fast home delivery , simple instructions and now we have our own ! What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. When I designed it I was inspired by how our lives and homes look today – fluid, flexible, active – and I wanted to make a piece of furniture that’s easy to lift and move so that it can be used for many different activities. The idea is quite simple. Whenever and wherever you need a space to put something on, BURVIK is there for you."
