They definitely need the larger light bulbs in the big ones to look better.

Which was pretty straight forward but found an easier way than following the instructions. To my shock, it doesn't fit! Clearly states online that the bulb and wire fixings are sold separately. Why is the shade spacer not also included in this statement, and the packaging? Will save everyone having to go back to the store to purchase or find somewhere else. And why is it only available in white? No good with a black lamp. Also why can it not be included with the product itself? Should definitely come as standard. Because of this, I will not be going back to the store to purchase the shade spacer, just out of the principle of the inconvenience. Found it on Amazon in black and cheaper.

Nice industrial look - use with MONTERAAnonymous reviewerI fell in love with this lampshade at the IKEA showroom. Tips for assembly - read the instructions carefully and make sure each piece is slotted into the top ring. Then make sure you hear a click when connecting each of the panels. If you're like me and have an existing UK ceiling rose and want to swap out an old lampshade then buy the MONTERA shade ring. Unscrew the bottom bit of your ceiling rose and then slot the ring into the BRUNSTA lampshade then it will fit. It only took me around 3 minutes to assemble but if you're unsure I'd recommend watching a video online so you can see it in action.

Tip for assembly. My 13 year old attached the 6 diamond shaped pieces to the base hooks. Then inserted the opposite two into the top plastic ring. She then placed the large hexagonal over the two diamonds. Click. She then went round inserting the rest of the diamonds into the top ring from inside the hexagonal. Slight tension with them as you’d expect. Once they were done she slid over the smaller hexagonal. Watch your fingers. Took her less than five minutes. Easy she said.

These shades are easy to assemble and go together well. There seems to be a bit of knack of twisting when attaching to the ring fixing, this then pops into place.. it almost seems like the pins are going in to far and weakening the plastic then clicks.
I hope this may help others struggling.

Impossible to put together!Anonymous reviewerI bought 3 of these and will be returning 3! I spent over an hour trying to assemble one on my own but it was impossible to do. Was going to enlist my daughter to help me, but reading earlier reviews about how they easily fall to pieces even when built decided returning the is the sensible option.
