One of the front door of drawer is chippedAnonymous reviewerI bought this item in store. I opened and assembled majority of this TV bench except drawers i noticed that one of drawer front is chipped and visible from the front. It looks really bad. There does not seem to be a way to just get this single door which is bit frustrating. I'd love to hear a response from the manufacturer or Ikea to help this issue resolved.

Obviously it all depends what your looking for when you're buying a TV cabinet.
We wanted something neat, we didn't want an open back (can't stand being able to see wires) and we wanted plenty of storage.

HiFi separates are likely to be too deep to fit in the shelves - my amp sits on top next to the TV. The drawers are deep but their runners are not smooth. The finish of the unit is not as good as that of a Billy bookcase.

Great unit in WHITE...but now only black available !Anonymous reviewerHad house refurbished 2 years ago and bought this in white) to match all the other white IKEA furnishings in the room, but recently I replaced my stand mounted TV with a larger wall mounted 55 inch and wanted to 'add' the matching bookcase and glass-door cabinet only to find that they are no longer available in WHITE ! No option but to look elsewhere for similar products in WHITE...so I am not happy.

Tv storage unitAnonymous reviewerGreat product easy to put together. All bits arrived by ilea delivery on time excellent communication from ikea regarding delivery times. Looks fab we purchased two of these tv units. Placed them side by side to create a one larger long looking unit. We have a 75inch tv over the two and it looks fab and takes the weight with ease. Drawers have a frosted glass front you can’t see the contents of the drawer unless you have items right up against the glass. The units and drawers are very sturdy.

What is particleboard?
Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
