Not great… OKVerified ReviewerI have had this about a year now and it is barely used. Only in the guest room and we’ve had gusts just a couple times. Guests did say it was comfortable.
The frame does not seem to be holding up well. The sides are tilting out and it all seems a bit loose. I tried to tighten everything but it is the same. It also weighs a ton. It’s impossible to move unless all drawers and mattresses are removed and then it is very awkward. Also, the frame is just like a vinyl covering whatever material is used… it sort of crinkles and tears if scraped. It’s just not the quality I am used to from Ikea. I wish there was an easy way to replace it, but there isn’t so I’ll deal with it.3
My experienceVerified ReviewerFirst of all, it does take a couple hours to put together. I’d recommend just using a drill on the correct torque setting on screw to make it quicker to put together and so that it doesn’t strip the thread or drill too far in.
The slats and frame could be stronger, they’re a bit weak but not so weak that it’s unusable.
I bought 2 hardwood sheets from b&q to place over the slats so that the weight is spread more evenly rather than directly on 1 slat when getting in and out, it should stop them snapping so easily like in other reviews. You’d really have to kneel in one spot with a lot of weight to break one, just be careful getting on and off it’s not like a normal bed… they’re a lot stronger.
But overall it genuinely looks good, it’s not hard to pull out unless you have loads of weight in the drawers.
If they improved the frame that the slats go on id say it’s pretty much bang on!4

terrible quality, difficult to put togetherVerified ReviewerThis bed is a nightmare to put together, and I am pretty good with IKEA DYI normally. The quality is also low, the drawer bottom came off and the metal rail tore my carpet. The plywood was chipped and I had to glue it. The corners are super sharp and dangerous, I had to cover them with plastic protection.
Finally, the design is awful as a settee, as the 2 mattresses make it way too high and you can't sit on it, and there's no back to lean on. Normally IKEA quality is decent, but this is not.
And in case I had any doubt it was just me... when I got to my best friend, she couldn't believe I got the same bed she did, which she hated, didn't mount properly, also broke early and she had to dispose of it after a couple of months.1

I have tried to get replacements ones but have been told that I need to purchase a whole lot again. Customer service is not very helpful. Cheap quality and materialVerified ReviewerWood panels are cheap quality. It’s not sturdy and the slats could barely sustain an average adult weight (75 kg). The assembly of drawers is complete madness. Moreover, the duvet and cover they sell together is completely off-size. I definitely wouldn’t buy again such a cheap quality bed1

Looks great!Verified ReviewerGreat daybed and love the extra storage. Drawers are nice and deep and large enough to store bedding etc. Perfect with some comfortable cushions on the back! Bought with two Moshult mattresses which are good, however be aware they are on the harder side rather than a softer type mattress. Fine for occasional guests, but perhaps not an everyday type mattress. Suited our needs but for those wanting an everyday mattress, definitely invest in a more comfortable one. Fairly simple to build but definitely needs two people to move it! It's incredibly hard to move as sides come away from main body when you try and shift it. Easy enough to pop back in, just be aware to build it exactly where you want it to sit.4
