Product details

Everything is kept close at hand with integrated storage in the headboard.

Ample storage space is hidden neatly under the bed in 4 large drawers. Perfect for storing duvets, pillows and bed linen.

Hide cables for lamps and chargers by feeding them through the holes on the top of the headboard.

You can sit up comfortably in bed thanks to the high headboard; just prop some pillows behind your back and you will have a comfortable place to read or watch TV.

This versatile bed frame will look great with your choice of textiles and bedroom furniture.

Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

SKORVA midbeam is included in the price but packaged separately. It is required for the stability of the bed frame and to keep mattresses in place.

Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

The headboard must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener.

Good for the price, holding fine after 5 yearsAnonymous reviewerWe have been using it for 5 years and it holds fine. Drawer rails still work smooth and none of the slabs broke (we got thr premium ones). Laminate still intact except a couple of corners that were hit. The headboard is not as useful as we thought, you get tired of how awkward is to reach for things on the side space. In retrospective we would chose now a lower bed. This is quite tall and doesn’t look as good. But you can not complain for the price4

Put By ALOT of Time!Anonymous reviewerWhen my daughter decided she wanted a new bed she picked this. Putting it together takes alot of time and when you get to the metal frame part have an electric screwdriver to hand for your sanities sake!! The headboard has to attach to the wall as is separate to the main frame so be aware of that too. Plus if your short be aware this bed is the tallest not bunk bed I’ve known!! Me at 5’8 has to all but hop onto the bed and poor dogs have to have steps to get up!!!! She loves it though 4

DO NOT BUY Anonymous reviewerThis is the worst bed i have ever bought, it is so complicated to put up, half of the parts were broken, the bed isn’t even buildable because parts don’t even go together like it says in the instructions. definitely not worth the money, the only thing we managed to get up was the headboard, and that took best part of a day to do. If you are going to buy this bed i would highly suggest to get ikea to build it themselves, just makes sure you observe them so you know they’ve done it properly. I am NOT a happy customer, i will not be returning to ikea.1

Headboard needs anchoring to the wall, not rental friendly. Anonymous reviewerThe bed it self seems fine and sturdy, big drawers underneath, but not sure how long it will last yet, as we just assembled it yesterday. The biggest problem and I was really annoyed by this, is that the headboard is NOT attached to the bed , as we assumed from the pictures, but needs to be ANCHORED to the wall! We are renting our house and had to drill 2 halls in to the wall ,meaning we can’t change which way the bed is positioned in the room now. Also not great if the floors or the walls are uneven. Will see how it goes, but I believe the fact that the headboard is separate from the bed should have been stated in the description, not as fine print, because let’s be honest who reads the fine print? 3

We’re not the best DIYers but have never put something together for so long. It’s worth it though!! I absolutely love this bed , it’s so comfortable and stylish , it saved loads of room with not having to use bed side cabinets . The under bed drawers are nice and spacious for all my bedding and duvets . Very reasonable price as well.

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
